      glenn beck it doesn’t matter what they think but the truth is these cars will never be worth anything they where started by a mediocre company that had too borrow engines from other companies too make horrible cars that look like their worth something from the outside but the reality is any Honda Civic has better shocks springs transmission and interior features this is just an old 1500 Chevy engine on a prototype joke . it sounds horrible, has a flimsy hood ,drives horrible no traction control or abs braking any idiot could have done a better job

      @@michealangel1556 the reality is that NO 2 HONDA CIVICS WILL EVER SELL FOR $1,000,000. And that's the truth. There are vehicles that cross auction blocks all the time that look weird, sound funny, handle like shit, can't get outta their own way, and ride like a hardtail chopper with a flat tire, and because for whatever reason they sell for big money. Saying these 2 Vectors will never be worth anything is a blatant lie because, well, they're worth $1 million to the guy who bought em, and possibly more to others who weren't involved in the bidding. The guy who bought this pair might have paid more if someone else had been bidding against him. Something is only worth what you can sell it for. These cars are worth million cuz they sold for a million. Now go play with your Civics while us adults talk about grown up stuff

      Augustin Fabre Vectors were the better cars though, having higher top speeds, more power and (even though it doesn't look like it) having a higher build quality than the Countach. Both are very iconic and beautiful imo.

    • @augustinf
      @augustinf 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Chiel Wouters there is like 20 years difference between the countach and the first vector. The vectors were also highly inspired by the countach... but with horrible proportions. Ask André Agassi what he thinks of the build quality of the vectors.. they are trash. Also vector used lambo engines at some point and couldn’t even pay for them.. they ended up paying lambo with finished cars. The countach was certainly not a good car, but it’s the icon of the 70s and 80s, in my opinion the most breathtaking design ever. I have always seen the vectors as the ugliest cars ever. With time, I don’t see them as ugly as I used to.. but it’s just the hype of obscure rare vintage cars going on right now. They probably deserve to be collectible, like a lot of weird rare cars from the past... I wouldn’t want a car just because it’s weird and rare, I’d rather have a car that takes my breath away like the countach does (they are also very rare)

    • @augustinf
      @augustinf 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      LogicalSense lol I’m from 1980, that is hardly a baby boomer, and I definitely had countach posters in my bedroom as a kid (along with a testarossa and a diablo). If you buy one of these today it’s more for what they look like and what they represent, if you want a great car by today’s standards you buy a modern car. These vectors only represent bad taste and failiure and will never be driven because nothing can be replaced

    The 90's Automotive scene was truly unique. Alot of cars had distinct styles unlike modern times where alot of cars seem to look the same. Bulky and what not. One thing that more common in today's cars is the technology but I still enjoy cars like this one and other like the Edonis, Chrysler ME-Four-Twelve, Bugatti EB110, Noble and other weird or unique cars that were well ahead of their times and precursors to today's ideas and technology.

      there are only four Vector W8s in Europe, only one is being offered for sale in Germany. This car, according to a recently renewed Los Angeles superior court ruling still legally belongs to Jerry Wiegert and was stolen by the Indonesians during the hostile takeover of Jerry Wiegert´s Vector Aeromotive Coporation. The car you´re offering for sale was sold by AUDI without papers and later received a very questionable title issued for Lamborghini in a tiny village in Kentucky with no link to Vector or Lamborghini whatsoever.
      I recommend any potential buyer to wait for the final judgement of a German court on the legality of the paperwork.
      Gerald Wiegert also owns the original MSO of this car. So any buyer of this Vector would have hard times to receive spare parts from Jerry Wiegert or sell the car in the USA in the future.

      Maybe if it wasn't priced soo high. That still high in today's economy. Maybe a price range of 100,000-200,000 would of fair better for this car. I really wish tuning companies would seek out cars like this and see what they can do like they have done with Vipers, Vettes, Ford GT's, Audi's, Ferraris, Porsche and even McLaren's are being tuned to see what potential those cars have hidden.

    Anyone watching this needs to listen up and realize that the WX3 and the M12 are NOT THE SAME CARS, nor are the produced by the same people. The WX3 was quality. The M12 was a knockoff of the WX3 built with Diablo parts by Megatech after the hostile takeover of Vector. They are not the same cars. They weren't engineered by the same people. They weren't of the same quality or power. The WX3 was NOT the prototype of the M12.

    Frankly, they just weren’t very good cars. To be honest, they were actually quite low-tech. A simple small block V-8, a 3-speed automatic gearbox, no true aerodynamics, in fact the only thing it really had going for it was that it started utilizing carbon fiber. Always more hype than substance. And if you happen to hear one run, it has the worst exhaust note! NO WAY was that car hitting 242mph!

      Lol, ok edge lord. It had fighter jet instrumentation and a screen from an F18 Hornet, an automatic/manual adjustable rear spoiler, and gold contact switches. The 3 speed transmission was highly modified and originally used for motor homes and buses. It could do over 220 mph and go form 0 - 60 in under 4 seconds. The entire body is made out of kevlar and carbon fiber. Low tech my ass. For a 90's car, it's still got leading edge technology that will never see the inside of another car. The fact that it sounds like a well tuned V8 and not a shit box rice burner with a fart can is your problem.
