Someone once described wait's voice as sounding like it had been drowned in a vat of bourbon, hung in a smoke house for 14 years and then hit with a car... And it is truly unforgettable! Must see him live!

that is a harmony stratotone h44 guitar. They are highly sought after for their incredible tone. You can see them for sale online from time to time, but they get a bit pricy, especially if there all original parts. Eastwood makes a reissue of the guitar for about 499 or something, but they are nothing like the original. hope that helps.

Die DVD kenne ich nicht, doch falls darauf mir bislang unbekanntes Material zu sehen wäre, würde ich sie mir anschaffen.
Aber, eigentlich reichen mir Alben, die sind ein Genuss, den ich jederzeit, ohne mich zu schämen, mit einem Handke- oder Stasiuk-Roman vergleichen kann.

Tried to give it an answer once: the narrator is living at the bottom of the world, meaning a bad life, doomed to failure and all that, surrounded by losers like himself, and he can only get in touch with the world by paying heed to the tales of religion or any other instituzionalised authority (the bishop) or to the nonsense uttered by the liar at the barbershop, where the barbershop is traditionally seen as the place where the short-eyed gossip goes on.
