Nothing against BTS here, they did the same for their agency and have also elevated K-pop worldwide, but sometimes there's so much focus on them, that people stop seeing the other good that's being done by other artists is all I'm saying. Seventeen keep raising the bar and proving that large groups can have longevity, continue being relevant, and not lose their passion.

I’m actually not crazy about Jungkook’s voice either, but I feel like he’s still the epitome of the ideal “K-pop voice” just because of how stable and consistent he is while performing. If Kpop was just about singing well, we’d be looking at a totally different group of people.
