The thing about kpop they chose someone who can hit those high notes to be the main vocal and sometimes do not care about the tone/quality of the voice itself
and sometimes the high notes are not hit properly! (theyre too pitchy and lack proper support and depth -_-)
In my perspective that is true, main vocalists are judged upon jow they reach the high notes, and if they don't hit that note everybody will criticize her.😑😑

Mamamo and Red Velvet have the best vocals among all the k-pop girl groups
I also love Twice, in my opinion they sing really good ( I love Jeongyeon's voice). Maybe they're not " the best " when it comes to vocals, but their presence stage is quite perfect and their songs are actually so catchy that sometimes I wonder what kind of drugs did they put on it lol

That is kinda wrong, i hate how people just focus on high notes, some singers who cannot hit high notes, but they are incredibly good singers as they can hit good low notes instead of high notes. Honestly, i don't totally agree with this list, i understand that high notes are important, but high notes are definitely not the most improtant, there are also low notes, deep voice, and other good singers whose ranking are very low on this list. Ofc there are some perfect singers that we all know they should be in the top as tayeon,solar,yuju,etc, actually tayeon and solar and yuji definitely deserves to get the top 3 spots in this list, and that is what i only actually agree about, the rest of the ranking is horrible, and some deserves to be in a higher ranking in my opinion.

I think people need to remember that being able to hit high notes and having a higher range doesn't make you a great singer, yes it is better but you also have to take in consideration the technical aspects...having a low rage doesn't mean you're a bad singer.

What are the factors to rank their vocal like this?
When we talk about vocal, we need to consider many things : vocal tech (including breath/support, agility, sense of pitch, placement, developed register etc.) , interpretation and singing style. But the last two tend to be subjective. So vocal techs are the only thing that can be used to rank vocalists. Even though I disagree with something like vocal rank or compare one vocalist with the other, but it would be good for those who want to learn singing (including me).
I wouldnt say that the rank here is invalid or something, cause it's the owner of video preferences. But can I say something?
I love Yuju a lot, she is my ultimate bias, but technically Wendy and Taeyeon still better.
I disagree with Akmu's Suhyun. I'm not a fan of them or her but her vocals is really something. I think she could've even got into the top 10 or higher. Well, it's not like this is official though.

I definitely agree with you. I also think yuju is a good vocalist especially that her voice suits ballad the best, but it somehow lacks elements that's why her singing sometimes sound boring and almost the same.

A vocal trainer once said, the best singers are those who sing with their hearts and emotions. If you hit a high note without a feeling, it's just singing.

Wendy deserves to be higher, I think. She's a flexible singer. She has good techniques. Her range is phenomenal. Her low and high notes are both amazing.
