friends it wood be nice for us to show appreciation for this mans time and head over to the link in description. and say hi , thank you. much more to come with Scott
Hey Buckin' just wanna say thanks for all your amazing videos you've helped me out so many times as a rookie groundsman.I've been a huge fan of yours since I first saw you on Historys Axe Men i found you here years ago and been watching and learning everything I can. Ive gotten alot of tree work this year and have been thinking of getting myself a truck and chipper like yours I don't need something as big as what the power company or Asplundh has on there crews.Any suggestions on a guy first starting out wanting to go down the route i am thinking. Many Thanks .Love ya Buckin Justin
Thank you buckin and Scott When two of your favorite youtubers collaborate, it's an unexplainable feeling from this end!!! What a treat. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate what you do!!
I have been riding 2 stroke motorcycles, working on 2 cycle motors my whole life and I appreciate what you guys are doing! The thing people are afraid of is making it too lean. First of all I can tell you from first hand experience that It is very hard to burn one up. Number 2 If it sounds like it is running like a scalded dog like you showed us here, that means its tuned right. The machine will sound crisp and it will actually make less power if its too lean. (there isn't much difference in sound from too rich to too lean), but you can know that if the machine is making more power each time you tune it, your tunin is spot on!( I do these mods on all my weedeaters, blowers, saws right out of the box)
Essential Craftsman is a bon-a-fide legend and it's really cool to see you two hanging out! Looks like he learned what he wanted to learn, and he's probably already tuning on his chainsaws back home!
I have been watching both of you for years. Hundreds of videos. You both have great skills and great character. God Bless you both, and thank you for all the knowledge your share.
Wow! Two of my favorite TH-camrs together on one channel! I’ve learned so much from both of you amazing men! Thank you both for sharing your knowledge and positivity with all of us! Love you all! ❤️✊
Even though tuning is basic knowledge when dealing with any gas engine, in today's world most can't be "fiddled" with. Fortunately, most small engines can be, even though the owner may not realize it. This is good for the small engine shop but tends to be expensive. In the short time I have watched Buckin' Billy, I have learned more of how not to injure or kill myself. The tuning tricks are a bonus, the Christian way Billy conducts himself is admirable. We could all benefit from his engine tricks but also his way of treating other people. That is perhaps the biggest benefit of his channel, which Billy may not know, but getting people to treat one another better is always a good thing. Thank you Billy Ray. You are a breath of fresh air in a toxic world!
Thanks for turning me on to the essential craftsman buckin, peace ✌️ and love ❤️ from Oregon, give a heads up for a meet and greet if you make it to Oregon brother 🌲
I cannot watch you for more than 20 seconds without starting to smile. You have the most optimistic positive energy out of any TH-camr I can think of. 💪🤠👍🙏🌎🇨🇦🇺🇲👁️
Awesome! Two of my favorite YTrs! The amount knowledge/power that social media can generate. We truly can change the world if we choose to come together. ❤
Buckin' thank you for this content. It put a big big smile on my face when I saw that you had made this video with Mr. Scott. I have been following you and essential craftsman for years now and have been motivated, equipped and entertained by your content as well as essential craftsman's. Great video and God bless you!
Awesome! Awesome!! Crazy Awesome!!! I have been subscribed to both of you for years now. I get on TH-cam today and you both are shooting a video together. Crazy awesome!!! Big thanks to both of you!
Look at the the guy that has vast amounts of wisdom and experience he drives to buckins to learn about powersaws there arent alot of guys around like Scott anymore I dont know Scott like I know Buckin but to be able to hang out with these two is a priviledge and time well spent for sure
@@BuckinBillyRaySmith Yessir Im lookin forward to it brother, Im kickin the notion around to ride out to bunyan I just put new tires on my bagger and she's runnin like a scalded dog that would be the perfect trip to close out 2023
The miracle saw, almost forgot about that wonder of the saw world. Nice video with Scott looking forward to more of the two of you makes for great content. ♥️👍
If I'm being honest, all I use my chainsaw for is cutting out blanks for my wood lathe. That being said, I appreciate this video for making me feel confident about finally fixing the high idle on the thing myself. Thanks Billy.
My 2 TH-cam heros finally made a vid happy happy happy. As a carpenter and a power saw machinic and I firewooder. It don't get much better for me lol. Say buckin I just picked a nearly new Olympic 480 saw the other day it's 82cc you ever delt with those much it's the same thing as a efco 980. God bless yall.
Been watching EC for quite a while. He is one good builder. I do all my own stuff but he's one guy I'd trust to build my house and know it's done RIGHT!
Rights fellas, rights been watching both of them for a while cool seeing them together. Great guys with lots of wisdom. These would be the foreman a guy would be lucky to work for.
I love the science experiment and would love to see that cylinder and piston after a few tanks of straight gas😂 Much love to you young Ewan Keep positive little buddy!
My opinion, best video ever Buckin’! By you breaking down the high, low circuits and idle, is so informative. You explain things so well you make it simple. Thanks so much from David here in the States 👍🙂 And thanks Scott for being part of it.. I’ve already jumped over to your channel to check things out😊👍
This video couldn't have showed up at a better time... I started having trouble with my chainsaw and figured I would have to take it to town to be worked on. After watching your video I tuned it myself and got it running great and was able to get back to work - thank you so much!
WADz, My chainsaw has been giving me so much trouble I finally had enough & chucked it in the ashcan & bought me an electric. MAN! What a difference! No yanking, no choking, no mixing, no burning myself on hot parts, no putting my toe in the handle to yank. I feel like I've never had it so good. Of course I still have to sharpen that pesky sawchain. !
Another reason not to run an air cooled gasoline engine too lean is that part of the engines cooling strategy (besides the cooling fins) uses the cooling effect of evaporating liquid fuel. When you run too lean, you reduce the amount of evaporating fuel which can lead to scored cylinders and detonation.
Stop it, This is just too much!!! Have been a subscriber to the essential craftsman for many many years. Most deadly combo of great men I could imagine. Keep these coming.
So here I am knowing I’ve been needing to adjust my saw. Even after Steve’s Small Engine Saloon has showed me how to do it. Now two of my favorite YT guys are together. It must be a sign. No more dying saws for me.
friends it wood be nice for us to show appreciation for this mans time and head over to the link in description. and say hi , thank you. much more to come with Scott
