In 53 years of marriage to the same wonderful God's gift, I can relate to everything you've spoken of. What brought us through and closer together? Our faith in God. I love the show and telling everybody. Everybody needs this show! Keep it up men!!
@@sirwoofsalot Encouraged to hear of your 53 years of marriage. Congrats! Its a big deal. Also, love the glory u give to God for it. Thanks for sharing the show; it means a ton to us👍🏻
I can relate to much of this, but especially the shotgun story. My wife OFTEN reminds me of the time that I bought a new duck boat on our 10th wedding anniversary, so yeah. I can relate. We are now easing up on 33 years and she hasn't forgotten about it yet!
@@Haydenalabamapodcast Oh she will…much like I will always remember getting left at home on the next Valentine’s Day when she went with my sister to see Bon Jovi in concert!!! 😂😂😂
I loved these stories and as a wife I can relate to both.. Only mine was related to let us say husband uses a cutting board and any time I have messed up my husbands bedside library without consulting him in the first place... Oh and of course there's the time I backed his truck into a tree and our car into a light post but we won't go there. Love you guys and wishing for more happiness to come your way.. God Bless.
Hey, Amy! I am proud that you enjoyed the stories and it definitely sounds like you have some good ones as well! Even though your husband may not have enjoyed the events that made them🤣!
25:59 We all make mistakes. Years ago, an elderly couple at our church was talking to us about things to avoid in life, and how to navigate around some things. They told us, “Children, we’re just trying to keep you from hitting the same potholes that we hit. Hopefully, y’all will have a smoother ride on the road of life than we did.”
I have been a hair dryer user for warming the bed for years! My husband hears it and cringes! 😂 I can so relate to people thinking that's weird. I own like 3 or 4 different ones so I have back up dryers! 😂😂😂
God bless you I honestly hope to have a great marriage that lasts and never loses its truth. Baby it's just me and you, our hearts never change. Amen.❤❤❤🙏
Seems like the snowball story would have been a good time to ask yourself “is this stupid?” I just watched the episode where your dad told you to ask that question.
Here’s my advice 😂 NEVER trust a teenage boy😂 Even the most well spoken one, good grades, fathers a good man, goes to church regular…… Him! Don’t even trust him😂
Which story related to you the most?
I have two great stories about asking the parents for their blessing. If you ever do a follow-up episode I'll email you script of the two stories.
I think you need to tell them. We can record it and put them out as Shorts or Short Stories.
I didn't relate but loved the story about asking your wife's parents. " They don't know me" lol
