- After great anticipation, Charlie is joined by his brothers Andy, Bill, and John for the final installment of the Berens sibling podcast episodes. In this quasi-family therapy/podcast session, the brothers unpack childhood trauma, air out some dirty laundry, and reminisce about being outnumbered 2 to 1 by their eight sisters growing up. Coming prepared with heartfelt apologies, each brother says sorry to one another, with some ending in long-awaited resolutions, and others ending with wounds being reopened.

The Midwest energy is palpable and I love it.
I'm the oldest of 12, and I just love these episodes with your siblings. So relatable. Big families are so much fun as you all get older, and the age gaps start to feel smaller. Funny thing, my dad is a veterinarian, so he is our medical advice guy, too. 😂 And I feel very blessed to have my mom to turn to for parenting advice, she is pretty brilliant. On top of raising 12 kids, she also studied child development in school, so she has some really good insight. My husband and I recently had #6 and bought a 15 passenger van. It was so nostalgic. Anyway, love the podcast, keep up the good work!
I feel ya, I’m the youngest of 6, and my fathers the youngest of 9. But, It can get interesting as soon as people start dropping from the roster. The real in fighting begins.

I am the third of four brothers. My two older bros are long gone, went early. I would love to be able to sit with all three of them and do this. Really great watching you guys just be brothers.
Bill is the exact copy of their dad. When mom told him the next kid would be on him, he took it literally.

My first watch of the podcast - Very entertaining!! Dick and Molly did something right! Loved the apologies and the dynamics of this 21st century brotherly love. Would love to hear some Sunday morning stories of getting the Berens kids to Mass. I grew up in a big family in the 60’s and 70’s and I’m amazed at how my parents pulled it off and how we survived 😂💖

I just got back from Door County and was visiting with two people from Manitowoc. I said I was a follower of Charlie Berens. They hadn't heard of you. I was even at your Ames, Iowa show last Fall. I told them they needed to look you up.

It was really cool to see Charlie’s family. I think sitting down and clearing the air apologizing, and realizing how the dynamics growing up changed their life for better and for the laughs later on. Glad I watched long enough to see John break down and air his real grievance about living in Charlie's shadow. Everything was Midwest appropriate until that outburst 😅😂

I have enjoyed the Berens girls podcasts parts 1 and 2 and now am enjoying listening to the Berens boys. I love Charlie's videos and his humor as a stand up comedian and his poking gentle fun at his Wisconsin roots! I am an only child who grew up in a ( small at the time) town in Northern Illinois and have friends who moved from that small town to an even smaller town about an hour west of Madison - I spent a lot of my teenage years visiting them. So, I can relate to a lot of the Wisconsin references and humor.
My question is - what is the age difference between all 12 siblings ( one year apart, two years apart, etc down the line)

I head you guys in my headphones at work just laughing in my own little world. My coworkers thought I was nuts until I said I was listening to Charlie Berens then they understood my hysterical laughing. Great show thanks for the laugh therapy Bergen’s boys. Sounds like the child hood I woulda love to have.

I’m a Hoosier and boy is this one heck of a midwestern podcast. The dry humor is beyond me eve at moments and geeze lo weeze we must sound like Amish to anyone outside of the Midwest.
