Tony, I have found that in life, people can be very selfish. It’s human nature more so than it use to be. This includes family, friends and strangers. I’ve just learned to not take it personally, and know that it is what it is. I adjust my life accordingly, so I won’t feel some kind of way about it. Man Tony you made a solid point at the 41min mark. Everybody has different beliefs no matter what but going out of the way to disrespect Christianity is not only blasphemous but very dangerous. This is a common problem in the Islraelite community. You notice how people that speak negatively about Christ are broke & have nothing to show for all the “knowledge” they preach.

OUCH! This was once me. My family name has a reputation (positive). I felt and wore myself out believing that I had to maintain that reputation. I believe I was in my mid 30s before I "found myself". I began to "do me". It caused the loss of a few. I received it as Gods way of pruning weeds. I now embrace/love the ME I've found and focus on God's work in me.

Great message! There were so many nuggets in here! I’m the one who asked about boundaries that night. There was mentions of selfishness while serving and I wanted you to really differentiate between selfishness vs setting boundaries. Even though you requested ppl to keep it to 60 sec they decided to ask multiple personal questions that only serve them and not the collective and it took so much time and you didn’t cut them off, you answered thoroughly. Even if you only did 2 hours of questions, I don’t even see how anyone in their right mind could call you (or anyone doing something like this) selfish. But as you mentioned, when you’re called to serve and you want everyone to feel seen and heard you will go the extra mile and for that I’m super motivated, inspired and I look into myself like do I have the ability to be that selfless? Tony, I usually only listen to secular music when I workout and I was trying to diminish that by listening to you instead. However, when you said the parent is whooping the child for the old and the new and the child was like “well can you just whoop me for the new?” I laughed and almost dropped the weight on my foot. 🤦🏾♀️ With that being said, I have to find something else to listen to during my workouts for my safety 😆
