11:19 I know this videos old but that’s still super sick. I used to live in the neighborhood right at the top of the trail system a couple of years ago. Since then I moved to Maryland and ride places like the Frederick watershed and bryce.
3:15 "Corner Canyon doesn't have the worlds best riding" - Yeah, but that view! It could be Brian's some sort of cinema photography genius but the lighting and the clouds with mountains in the background. Looks beautiful out there.
I was part of the first generation of cyclists on my high school team in Utah. There were 15 of us on the team, and now there are 200. Corner canyon was a frequent place for us to practice. It was nostalgic to watch you ride these trails
I find it cool how Its always a class trip with Brian. He talks a bout the area, people, history, food. Great storytelling to enjoy a place before and after a ride
As a regular who rides Jacobs’ I can attest to what he says about the speed of Jacobs. It really goes fast and you are not really prepared the first time going down how fast it goes. Throw in loose rock, sand, and dust you are in for a gnarly ride.
what an amazing guide! You are a blessed man Brian. Thank you again for sharing some fabulous trails! It would be fun to be out there with 300+ middle and high school kids killing it on the trail.
Great vid as usual. Love MTB Yum Yum and love Corner Canyon, it's 15 min from my house so I feel very lucky and pretty spoiled. Keep up the good work and happy trails.
If you’re in Boston and looking for an adventure someday I think you wood enjoy Green Woodlands in New Hampshire. It was closed to out of staters when you did the 50 state shred through NH. North Conway/Black Cap Mt is also amazing. It made me sad that NH didn’t get proper recognition on the 50 state shred
A great chat about the NICA and other middle-school and high school MTB programs and opportunities. They're growing by leaps and bounds! Parents and grandparents (me!!) can ride with and coach the kiddos while showing what a great lifelong sport this is. Strongly encourage all you BKXC viewers to check it out! Rule #1 is FUN!!!!
My backyard trails! So nice to have such good biking and trail running so close! The rocky berm at the bottom of rush is the 1st place I went OTB, good stuff
These are my backyard trails too, and I ride CC about 80-90 days a year. I will confirm Jason's comment that Jacob's Ladder is way rowdier than the videos make it seem!
Your videos are awesome!! We live in the southern most part of BC Canada (Vancouver area), so our trails are pretty awesome, but I love seeing the places you ride, and I'm inspired to go south into the US to "ride something new!"
I love my home riding in the Eastern US....PA, WV, NC, etc...but man I can't wait til the day that I can do some "out west" riding. Just Don't know which destination to pick.
Dammit, I missed riding with you again lol. When Jason said "There's a bit of a gap..." I was thinking to myself "Oh, he's gonna have Brian hit that little sender at the bottom of Rush".
Jason's channel (and the skiing at Snowbird) definitely had me looking up home prices in SLC. How great is it that there's that trail system connected with that easy to use path. My local trails are a 12 minute ride away but I have to negotiate some tricky intersections and impatient drivers on the way.
This is my backyard, as well. CC is nice to have. Mornings has become the only good time to ride there now, unfortunately. As he said, so many people here now. Evenings and weekends are horrible in CC. I don't even bother anymore. The top of that Rush Trail, you can literally be waiting in a line. Mornings are good.
Literally right before you guys started talking Strava times I was like I bet Cody is KOM 👑 I was right lol he is a absolute beast and gets faster every year.
I’m so jealous. I’ve been watching your Chanel when I started riding back in CA a few years ago. I now literally live 5 or so mins away from corner canyon and missed a chance to meet you. Great video though!
Brian managed to drag Jason out from the shadows for a little bit. :) Glad to see you two riding together again, y'all are some of my favorite TH-camrs.
"Corner Canyon doesn't have the world's best riding"... but pretty close (if you don't need really big jumps). Brian, I hope you got to try the flow trails on the other side of the mountain. If not, you need to make another trip.
Jumping is hard man, when you were working with Rich you were clearing some huge tables so you know you can get back there. I keep struggling with jumps too but this year I've been making the effort to go ride jumps once a week or so and it's made a massive difference to my confidence and technical ability in the air. One ride a week man, that's all it takes, especially when someone like yourself is already such a good bike handler!
Nice job! I'd skip that gap jump too lol! Can't wait to try those trails! Thinking about buying the same RODE audio system for me and wifey from your webpage links but not sure how you hear each other. Can you elaborate on the setup? Thx!
Hi Brian, great video as always. Are you wearing new customized bkxc handup gloves? If so, are they gonna be available soon? Greetings from the Netherlands
I want to hear more about the double audio! Was he wearing a mic and then you just synced up the audio? Was his mic bluetooth connected to your camera some how? Jacobs ladder is awesome but nothing new for me so the audio was honestly the most intriguing part of this video for me haha! I guess it helps that you're both content creators, so you obviously have good camera gear. How did you do the audio? It was cool to hear both of you hollering down the trail!
Yep, Like Preston said, demo bikes are extremely hard to come by and I'm not a TH-camr like Brian is.... I have a full time job and other obligations. TH-cam has been a fun hobby for me and I wish I had more time and resources to record and publish more videos.
I love to hear you guys have a middle and high school mtb team. We have the same Nikon *sorry if I am spelling the team wrong* in SC. Last time I saw the group out the team was pretty big!
Love seeing you guys ride together. Best collaboration out there. But come on, not one “giving it the beans”. Now that you are married, you need to spend more time riding with yumyum and practice using your Utah words.
I rode Jacobs ladder the same day and saw you on the daily leaderboard! I was anticipating this vid! I'm glad you had a good time on our daily trails! It's funny how there are so many ungrateful riders near corner canyon! I remember when there were only like 3 mediocre trails out there! Now it's just a dream!
Matt, having grown up in Draper, I totally agree. I've been riding these trails since 1996 and I hear people complain about CC from time to time. It's obviously not high alpine riding but in terms of sneaking in a quick morning or evening ride, you can't beat CC for the flow and easy of access.... DDH, JL and Levitate are 3 very high level trails that anyone from anywhere would be stoked to ride!
@@mtbyumyum for sure!! Every time someone says corner canyon sucks, I ask them why they don't like Levitate. 😂 They have nothing to say because they either actually like it or they can't ride it! 😂 I didn't tell you but I sold my Ripmo and got the new 2022 firebird! It's pretty rad! It seems to pedal almost as good as the Ripmo with more travel! I'm loving it so far!!
It's not even just CC. The whole South end of Salt Lake Valley has tons of easily accessible riding - Rose Canyon, Blackridge Reservoir, Traverse Mountain, with more coming online next year (Butterfield Canyon), not to mention some good stuff on the East bench areas (Lower Cottonwood Canyon is a personal favorite). You'd be hard pressed to find another big city that has this much amazing riding within 30 minutes' drive, with so much support from municipalities. While Moab is absolutely the crown jewel of Utah MTB (though Gooseberry Mesa is my favorite), the rest of the state is by no means devoid of convenient, and almost always very good to great, riding opportunities. The diversity of trails from flow, to chunky tech, to downhill, to alpine... It's all here, and all available for day trips if you aren't averse to some long car rides. I can't fathom not being absolutely ecstatic about the MTB scene in Utah.
@@madgtrgrhtrgrtgtyhrg I second that! I live within 15 mins from 5-6 amazing biking locations! I get to ride my MTB like others ride road bikes! Love it! But don't let any more people know!! LOL
Dude I have a Ripmo and I hear the dreaded internal cable Rattle of the Ritmo. Don’t get me wrong I like my bike not every bike is perfect but man between the brake cables tapping my handlebars in the rattling internally that I cannot seem to quiet down drives me crazy. Maybe I am a little OCD do you notice it when you ride?

BKXC with MTB YUMYUM at Corner canyon. Perfect video!
Good to see MTB Yum-Yum again. The dude has the gift for explaining things.
So cool watching Jason on follow cam. The dude is smooth!
I was part of the first generation of cyclists on my high school team in Utah. There were 15 of us on the team, and now there are 200. Corner canyon was a frequent place for us to practice. It was nostalgic to watch you ride these trails
I love corner canyon and wish it was in my backyard too… it’s nice and close still. Awesome trails.
Draper has added soooooo many trails over the past few years, but Jacob's Ladder is still and will always be king. We're so spoiled in SLC!
yeah if you like smoke so thick it blocks out the sun and an AQI of 150 for most of the summer.
Love MTB yum yum. Great bike reviews
Back in my stomping grounds!
I live right there in Draper. Glad you enjoyed.
I really dig YumYum’s reviews and Jacob’s Ladder never gets old to me.
Love Jason's channel. The dynamic between you guys is fun to tag along for! I'll definitely have to check out corner canyon one of these days.
I find it cool how Its always a class trip with Brian. He talks a bout the area, people, history, food. Great storytelling to enjoy a place before and after a ride
What a great riding area. Would never get bored there. Just pure fun!!!
Two of my favorites! Crazy that Jason can hit that chunky stuff on the Ripley!
As a regular who rides Jacobs’ I can attest to what he says about the speed of Jacobs. It really goes fast and you are not really prepared the first time going down how fast it goes. Throw in loose rock, sand, and dust you are in for a gnarly ride.
I'm so happy that this trail system is just a short drive down the road. It has a little bit of everything
Yum Yum is the best. I'd love to ride with him some day!
what an amazing guide! You are a blessed man Brian. Thank you again for sharing some fabulous trails! It would be fun to be out there with 300+ middle and high school kids killing it on the trail.

Good ol' MTB yum yum. Yummy.
Good to see Jason ride 😍 I got the Ripley this weekend all thanks to Jason’s review. I can’t wait to ride it 🙃
I rode Jacobs with MTB YUM YUM. It's no joke!
Great video, better ride and super cool guy. Great location.
Great Video!
I also follow MTB Yum Yum. He's also very knowledgeable!
Your Ripmo must've felt great going down! I love my V1!
WoW! I never knew how tech that trail is until now
man i love hitting trails at corner canyon and its easy to go to since i live near there
Any trails named after the best band in the world HAVE to be excellent!
Great fun to see you and YumYum riding together!
I live in draper and i can say that it is my favorite place to go mtbing.
My backyard trails! So nice to have such good biking and trail running so close! The rocky berm at the bottom of rush is the 1st place I went OTB, good stuff

Sedona AZ
If you can hit up these trails shown on this video, I would definitely recommend them. Southern Utah also has some really good biking places like Moab

Those trails remind me of Auburn. Especially Rush, the off camber turns on steep hills.
I use the Rekon front and Ardent race rear combo on my bike too. Great combo.
That place looks beautiful! Added to the list! 😎
Been there done that- fun ride!
LOL let that ripmo eat! Ripmos love flying!!!
I've gotta start traveling to get on some sweet rides like this!
If you’re ever in the area again you should ride "WOW" and "Flying Dog"

Followed your example, rode corner canyon this afternoon...
Nice bike 👍
Love Jacob's Ladder. Been having a hard time getting under 3:00 mins! Currently sitting at 3:01 on this trail....

Seriously. There is soooo much more trail in that area.
Amazing looking trails 🤩👍
I’m on the high school team and I live right next to mtb yum yum
Cool video again and trail prevy
This trail is probably top 10 of all trails you ever ridden.
Holy shot Draper! 300 kids on the Mtb team? That’s like a critical mass ride!

I live just north of Boston! Will you be doing any riding in Mass? If so you will have to check out thunder mountain, just a little west of Boston.
Brian. When are you going to make one of your stop in New Hampshire? I'd like to ride with you.
Awesome ride Brian. Which microphone are you using to mic up Jason? He sounds like he's right next to you, literally 😎.
Dude, nice save on the "where do u find a wife like that" comment....smooooth! 😎
That’s my neck of the woods, but I’m way way slower than that 😀. I haven’t tackled Jacob’s ladder yet. It kind of scares me 😂
Yeah, it's intense!! Great riding area you live in!
Hi Brian, great video as always. Are you wearing new customized bkxc handup gloves? If so, are they gonna be available soon? Greetings from the Netherlands
MTB YUM YUM YUMMMMMMMM
I'm moving from Boston to Salt Lake in November! Any recs for the drive?
Hey Bryan, If your ever in south Jersey, hit me up. Id love to give u a tour of some local trails.
We gotta get Brian to Wiss and White Clay lol
@@TheIggyTech Yesss we do. Ive inly been to the wiss and that is awesome. prefect mix of tech and downhill flow.
Welcome back. Maybe do us locals a favor and let’s your viewers know, “Utah trails aren’t really that good”. It would be greatly appreciated. 😀
We wouldn’t want any more “Californians, oregonians, and Washingtonians” moving in haha
Did any one recognise Jacobs ladder from the first shot?
