- Since Yuka and I were passing through Salt Lake City, it was the perfect opportunity to meet up with Jason from MTB yumyum! He showed us his favorite trails at Corner Canyon in Draper, Utah! We ride Jacob's Ladder, Ghost Falls, Canyon Hollow, Rush Flow and Lower CC.

He should have took the full lower Rush to limelight then to Rush skills. It's the best route ever.

Yes!!! I live so close to this place!! Everything looked familiar I go on rides here at least every week!! My neighborhood is literally right next to the fire road at the beginning of the video!!!! So cool to see you riding my home trails!!!!!!!!
Nothing beats having someone tow you in on their home trail! I've seen lots of Jason's trips down Jacobs Latter, looked fast and fun!

This is my favorite morning ride, on my way to work. One of the benefits of commuting by bike is having this large trail system between home and office. :D
The last section of this trail is not re-worked with jumps and bumps , plus a new section added where you hit the road near the end. A truly great community trail system!
UPDATE: I have since gotten a Giant Reign Advanced 0 and it eats this trail for breakfast. :D

Weird. I think you somehow got your camera/gimbal pretty far off center on your chesty, to the left. It makes it look like everything is tilted slightly. I've never noticed that before in your videos, so not sure what's going on? Is it a different camera in your gimbal or something that might have made the balance off? Hmm....something is amiss. I don't notice the frame rate or blur...my monitor only does 1080p, but I definitely felt like I was on a ship that was listing. :-)
Outside of that...great video! Those rain ruts are definitely enough to force you to slow down when you don't know the trail, and in his videos, he just hops them like they're not there, because he knows the trail so well.
The gimbal definitely points the wrong way at times! Try to not take too much notice of that! I think all mtb youtubers have the problem!

Sound is super nice, but 4k...? feels there is a lot of loss. Is it upscaled? Maybe the wrong codec/format? Feels like every other frame is missing, the video isn't really that smooth as it should be.

I think you might be right. It looked pretty good but seemed a bit soft on the details.
I think the youtube bitrate is a bit low for the amount of detail going on in the frame for this vid. 1080p is pretty shocking actually.
@@BCpov yeah, might be some codec issues from your side? youtube is definitely downscaling to safe some bandwith, so it's always interpolated in some way, you don't get source material quality, but maybe your export is already skipping some frames or has some sort of loss? I know good quality files can get enormously big and take half a day to render, but... Maybe give Paul or Alex a call :)
Looked great for me. The bottom of the screen where the leaves and everything goes by the fastest is always tricky but overall the video was smooth.
