What a beautiful little plane. I love flying big planes like the A380 and 747, but there is something about small jets like these that is just special.
around 6:50 if you ever wanted to see flaps being retracted...!! and then youll be able to appreciate the clean beautiful line of the wing.. (not that they care here, chattering ever non stop..).
Thanks for sharing. I think airliners should ban people from talking on take off and landing. What could be so important and funny that people cant stop for 2 minutes on take off and landing.
Jo Tyers have you ever been on a CRJ before? you cant hear the flight attendant talking, and i had to talk incredibly loud to my mom beside me. this is pretty quiet.
If I know people next to me are talkers, I typically fart a few seconds before take off. They will have to shut their noses. Hence shutting them up and allowing to record. Very important to make sure and eat food rich in protein & fats. Makes for awful stench.
I guess 90% of the world don't really care that there is a normal take off. They see flying like travelling with a bus and you would not stop talking when a bus starts driving would you? Seriously... ban talking on take off and landing? Really?
Because you lack any form of logical rational to realize that a bus doesn't fly. Silence is needed upon take off so that in case of an emergency instructions are given out and they are understood clearly and can be executed effectively. That's why instruct us with rules some of which include pulling the shade up, pushing the seat forward and so on. To further inform you, certain airlines have annouced by the captain that people should please refrain from talking upon landing and take off =)

my uncle worked for british aerospace and designed some stuff for the wing, cant remember if it was the flaps or the slats..

Seems like a long long distance before they pull up the flaps. Why not sooner?
Maybe because they wanted to climb fast, or there were speed restrictions, ... Plenty of reasons!

These are supposed to be called whisper jets but inside the cabin it is so noisy and you can not whisper .
