Love the retraction and re-extension of the krueger flaps during activation and de-activation of reverse thrust. 😉✈️

I'm so used to movies and TV shows putting squeaks in when aircraft land when most of them land quite well without skidding the tires.

@@caligulapontifex5759 No they’re not. Those are the JT3D engines, also known as the TF33 in its military designation... The J57 is the JT3C which was a turbojet that was replaced by the JT3D a long time ago. All the 707 ‘’B’’ versions were designated as such for the change from the JT3C to the JT3D engines, amongst many other improvements. There are no 707s with JT3C flying... Only JT3D or CFM56.

Israel ainda usa em 2022 o 707? As imagens são de 2019.

These particular aircraft almost certainly were not paid for by American aid. They are ex- civilian airliners converted by the Israelis into military tankers because the Israelis could not afford regular dedicated tanker aircraft. A few years ago they bought a Brazilian airline's 707 to use for parts. They have extensive modifications . Everything has to be done manually in these old planes. They can convert in a few hours to handle hospital equipment, medical supplies, or cargo.

No air force markings on the tanker...?

Because IDF planes are such a lucrative target, the IDF symbols - roundels and squadron symbols are regularly painted over.
This is applicable to transport planes only (C-130, B707), since they regularly fly to civilian airports around the world.
In this drill, since also F-15s were participating, it was random- C-130 and this B707 were painted over. Another B707 was not painted over.
