I didn't realize how versatile of a singer Kenny Loggins is. In Loggins and Messina he was more of a country/rock singer. On "This Is It" he's dabbling into funk and soul, and in the mid 80's he's was doing high octane pop rock. He was the soundtrack king in the 80's.
I’m listening to Kenny Loggins! This is a great song and his lyrics are timeless. Kirk Franklin made a great gospel song called The Fight of your Life from this song! Kenny has a great voice!!! I love this song!
This music would still exist if it wasn't controlled by industry execs. This is why Prince quit, they dictate what they want out, there are still artists who make this kind of music that the industry won't even listen too.
In the mid 1970s I got to see Loggins and Messina in concert in Toronto. Amazing and the opening act was an unknown band, Heart!!! Lucky me!! Check out Gabriel Henrique on TH-cam. He could do justice to any Kenny song. I'd live to hear him sing Celebrate me home or Conviction of the Heart. He could revitalize this music.

I love Kenny Loggins. Man can blow, one of my favorites is heart to heart.
Hearing Michael’s back vocals… chills!!!!
Kenny Loggins. Que hombre tan bello. 😍😍😍😍😘
Footloise soory

Outstanding. Synonymous with Philadelphia.
Just lost my mother- This has always been my favorite- has so much meaning to me now!
ThatGuyWhoPlaysGTAV Thank You Sooo Much!
For some reason- even as a child- this has always been my favorite song. Now I know why- Life Lessons( I know I'm being deep) But Its the truth.
Annette Jenkins God Bless You, Annette ~ ♡♡♡

@@sheashea4622 Thanks you for following me and my page all this year's and for the support you've showered to me dear fan, I really appreciate it and I hope you never stop listening to my lyrics.... Where are you streaming from?
What a beautiful song, glad i am not a teenager today, this was soulful music,
This song is always amazing. The strings, the bass, the guitar, xylophone (i think) the lyrics, the cadence...everything.
Kenny sung from his Soul ❤
“Are you gonna wait for a sign, YOUR MIRACLE” 1:09 Love how he sings that part. So much passion!
stand up and fight.. do dodo dooo.. THIS IS IT!!
My Favorite song of all times and I'm 59 y.o!🎯❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’m listening to Kenny Loggins! This is a great song and his lyrics are timeless. Kirk Franklin made a great gospel song called The Fight of your Life from this song! Kenny has a great voice!!! I love this song!
HAPPY 76TH BIRTHDAY
KENNETH "KENNY" LOGGINS
(JANUARY 7, 2023)
Dam, i wish I had a time machine. I would like to go back to those days. back then. Music really help, because it were good
Yes had meaning to it
You have no idea what it was like, cause it's back in my day music 🎶 and I am still jamming!!!
2023 and had to share with my 20 year old daughter. CLASSIC
The hair, beard, shirt open… jamming… foggy stage… KENNY WAS 🔥🔥🔥!!!!
Classic! 😳
Yes, he did. He’s a great band a great singer.
Amazing song. Kenny Loggins is a musical genius. Michael McDonald in the wings. Doesnt get any bettee.
Carla Linton. I love Kenny Loggings. He is one of my favorite Male Artists of the seventies and eighties one of my favorite songs by Kenny Loggings is This Is IT.
Carla Linton Loggins... not.leggings
I STILL have a major crush on Kenny. 6/18/2023
One of THEE MOST HEARTFUL, BEAUTIFUL & HEARTBREAKING Songs EVER. Kenny Loggins wrote this Song about his Father having n going through Cancer, the Same Time that My Father had n was going through Cancer. We Both lost Them to It. During that Time I was a Senior in Junior High School, that My Father had been Looking Very Forward to and Graduation. He wasn't there at Riverside Church on Graduation Day, which Still Haunts, Saddens and Hurts Me, 42 Years Later and Forever Will. DEEP SONG. GOD BLESS Kenny Loggins' FATHER & My DADDY. May Their SOULS BE AT REST IN POWER N IN ETERNAL PEACE IN PARADISE...🙏🏾👼🏾🤲🏾🕊🙌🏾😇
I guess Michael McDonald was unavailable for the shoot. His voice is absolutely unmistakable.
How are you doing? Nice meeting you here. I appreciate you for being a great fan, it really means a lot to me.
I sincerely hope you never stop listening to my music 🎼
Miss hearing music like this on the radio. Good Times.
This is it, your going no further, your back's to the corner I love this song.
hey brother i like your style of music...
Curtis Gilbert Right on!
Just love Kenny Loggins music. It was a great help to me while I was in college. It has been a comfort to me too during very difficult times in my life. He's a very talented man. I'm happy he is now retiring and taking time for himself and his family. Although he will no longer be touring, his music will still be out there for all to enjoy. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent. We will miss you.
The King of movie soundtracks was certainly blessed with other songs such as this song and Whenever I Call You Friend that still resonate today! Maybe he us not underrated but definitely not fully appreciated.
The intro. is so ill...groove.
Yup...serious intro...same for Gin & Juice by Snoop Dogg...same for Get Down Tonight by KC and the Sunshine Band.
“Loggins and a McDonald, you’ve been chosen to make really smooth a music …”
Kenny Loggin and Michael Macdonald sang this blockbuster song the lyrics was on the money because nobody knows what you know and knows what f the future holds THIS IS DEFINITELY IT !!! GOOD JOB WELL DONE !!! Richard and
This song has become a total classic. Most people love it.❤
Damn..I love this song...The opening to the song goes hard...On my daily playlist and I'm a black man..I love all music..
It's funny when people use "goes hard" incorrectly!!!
I'm thinkin' the music probably loves you back.
There’s a lot of a people who associate Kenny with Danger Zone and Footloose, which are great songs but he was definitely blue eyed soul early on.
Daryl Humphrey Alot of black people like Kenny n Michael McDonald
What does being a black man have to do with it? Smooth knows no color, race, or Creed.
THIS IS IT!! A TIMELESS CLASSIC SONG LOVE THE LYRICS ❤ RICHARD SHACKELFORD
I wish this was considered a church revival song that was often played at certain churches. I would be so happy if that was the way it was.
LEGENDARY 70''s hit. I remember was 6 yrs old first listening to this song on the radio i thought it was Michael Jackson, then i saw the video i was😮. Then i came to know the Hit Maker Kenny Loggins 🥰🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
This track along with bill Withers “lovely day” and Randy Crawford “one day I’ll fly away” take me to such a calm, mellow place. If you’re having a bad day, these songs change everything ❤️
Amen. On " Lovely Day".
Focus on Jesus.
"God is love"...
