I really loved visiting Chichen Itza! We were there in 2016 and the weather was extremely hot and humid. I think I might have preferred a little rain and shade! Cenotes are so amazing and beautiful. I love finding new ones each time we go to Mexico. Too bad your GoPro didn't charge properly - would have been fun to see your experience.
Oh I bet! There isn’t a lot of shade there so I bet that was a bit intense. Happy you enjoyed your time both at the site and the cenotes ! Agree about the GoPro, guess we’ll just have to go back 😉✈️
Ooh loved the cool history of this place! If only there was a way to find out how the game was played/whose blood was shed 😮 the aerial footage of that cenote looked beautiful, hope you guys enjoyed it, shame about the GoPro but sometimes we love to do things without the camera just for us. We’re so excited to visit some cenotes when we get over to Mexico 😍

Oh my goodness, soo much history! It is pretty incredible that so much is still unknown about the ruins. Seeing a Wonder of the world would be pretty cool by itself...but to also experience it with Archeologists would be even better 😊 Sorry to hear about your GoPro, we hope the charging issue was an easy fix!
Truly! I haven’t learned that much in a while! It was such a cool experience - I had no idea just how big the site was. And thanks! Fortunately the GoPro was just a one time issue 🤗 used it lots in our next video to come!
@@TheMapPinners that is good news about the GoPro. I can imagine it would be super stressful to have to get it repaired while traveling, so glad you two didn't have to do that. We have been considering sending ours in for repairs but haven't been willing to part with it and film without it lol
Chichen Itza is definitely on our bucket list! How cool that you got to experience it with your parents who just so happen to be archeologists. What a wealth of knowledge to have at your finger tips!

Right!? It was so cool. Was happy and lucky to share it with my mom and learn even more while there! And oh my gosh, the cenote was AMAZING! Such a shame our GoPro didn’t cooperate that day but we still had an awesome time. 10/10 would recommend swimming in one when you make it to Mexico one day ☺️

Yes we did! We’d recommend that you book right when you arrive at the excellence. We wanted to go on Sunday but they were all booked up by the time we asked. We went on Tuesday and it was great! But just a heads up to not make our mistake and risk missing out on this wonderful tour! ☺️ And thank you so much! We are so happy you enjoyed the video, we had a blast making it. Have a WONDERFUL time at the resort yourselves 🥰
Visiting this site was such a special trip for us and we loved reliving it though this vlog! The guides are so knowledgeable-It is so interesting to hear all the theories on how that court was used by the Mayans! We had a guide that mentioned the use of animals like gladiatorial games 🤔
