  • Join us as we go snorkeling in the Riviera Maya of Mexico in the 2nd largest reef in the world: the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef! It's our first time snorkeling so... what could go wrong?
We found this snorkeling tour at a Lighthouse Tours stand on the beach next to our resort in Cancun. If you are wanting to go snorkeling in Cancun, Mexico, or do any other popular tours in the area, then they are definitely a great group to check out.
As you can tell from the beginning of the video, the start of the tour was a bit intense because our boat ran a bit late to pick us up, but it turned out to be an incredible tour of the reef once we got into the water. Seeing the expansive reef and all the beautiful fish swimming around it was breathtaking. It's very sad to see how much color it seems to have lost though due to climate change. It makes us feel very lucky that we got to see this beautiful coral reef at all.
