Once I was returning from Ghaziabad at around 11 pm, I tried to help a girl. She scolded me and told me that she will complain to police. I gave her my aadhar card, my id card and told her to take my photo and let me talk to her parents first and let them know her location. Or else I told I would wait along with her for her safety till her parents come to get her. But she did not agree. I left her alone but I was worried till the next morning. Went to my home told my parents about the incident. Sometimes I still remember her.

I live in Bangalore and not once in my life I've been harassed in any way. Not even by lower class people living in slums. Of course even in Bangalore there are cases but it's lesser than Delhi. Because they respect girls here and guys and girls interact a lot more from a young age.

It was one odd day and I was returning home on my bike from my office which is in sector 60 Noida. I reached sector 18 metro station and I saw a lady standing at the same sector 18 bus stand. I thought I should ask for help so I stopped my bike and asked if she was fine. She said yes and then asked me "service chahiye". I immediately said "nahi". I understood the entire scene and started my bike and speeded towards my home. In this video, they have only shown the dark side and not that many bad things are being done as well. Since that incident and even before that, I have seen girls wandering around in dark spaces in Noida. But after that day, I decided not to stop unless I see them in trouble.

But please ask every girl if she is alone . Not all of them are prostitutes. And even if she turns out to be a prostiture , u can easily say no and leave

I just came after watching the Mumbai experiment and now i can say Mumbai is much much better than Delhi proud to be mumbaikar because being a 17 years old i have travelled alone at night in Mumbai local never faced any harrasment or any this kind of activities rather i have seen Cops in the local trains at night for girls safety and out side of local i have seen rickshaw wala who themselves told me to share auto number to your family before sitting in the auto and they are mostly very kind

So, many in the comments are worried about genuine helpers, let me share my experience. I received help from a guy during day time who presented himself to be very honest and nice. During conversation, I gave him my number which he took to ensure that I have reached home safely. Later, he started making friendship demands and on refusing, he started threatening me. I got scared like hell as I was only 19 and had to seek help from my brother to get rid of him.
Lesson I learnt - whatever situation be, I can never trust an unknown guy. 😑😑😑

Yes it can be scary. But make sure you have good trusted friends and you go out with them. Idk if you are a girl or boy, but always carry some safety with you. Pepper spray or razer, whatever you have. No one is safe late at night. Also make sure someone knows about your wearabouts.
