@@prashant3329 Then why maharashtra is in top 4 in rape cases. Even bihar is below maharashtra rank. Abhi recently one 55 years man raped a 3 year small girl in byculla area. In NAGPUR also same case happened 2 days back. And there are many such cases registered in maharashtra. U have smart phone, Google it and check the ground reality then feel proud.
Being a Mumbaikar myself I can say that women feel very safe in Mumbai, people are very helpful , women can go to night shifts, I myself can come from classes late at 10 and feel no worry.

I was eating pav bhaji late night with my family on streets & l was shocked when i saw there was a police man who is there at this time for security & that is very impressive . But living in delhi since 6 years I don't experience such kind of thing. That's why delhi is the crime capital of India.

I'm from Up, but I can assure you that Mumbai is one of the safest cities for in India. It is my personal experience, taxi drivers are very helpful and kind. Much better than other cities specially compared to the north Indian cities!
