Female Archetypes in Final Fantasy

In this episode we look back at Final Fantasy tropes of the female lead, along with the femme fatale or prominent female villains of the stories. Here we document the recurring conventions established by Hironobu Sakaguchi and Squaresoft in the earliest Final Fantasy games right through to the present day and how they created strong female characters that nontheless fit to a stereotypical type throughout the series.
