  • Just a video of me building the new Nukeproof Scout 2022. Frame is a XL.
    Spec is as Follows:
    Nukeproof Scout 275 XL
    Fox Factory 34 130mm
    Sram Roam 60 Carbon Wheels.
    Sram NX Crankset.
    Microshift AdventX 10 speed Groupset
    Sram Level T Brakes 180mm F& R
    Brand X Ascend 170mm Dropper
    Nukeproof Finishing kit
Bit boring possibly but this is my first attempt at filming an building myself at the same time and my hands get greasy so captured what I could. Hope you like it and hope my editing skills get better a time go's on.
    Any questions just ask.
    Thanks.

Why riders hate bright stand-out colors, is vexing. I want people's eyes to gaze upon a glorious rig. They just never forget it, nor the rider. My blue Zaskar LT, was just too-damn-dark. Now in the shop, getting a radical pearl atomic orange with green & ice gray. Most excellent video!

How many times did it take you to fit that dropper post, I bet the cable fell out of the end of the dropper post in the seat tube when sliding it down inside like it did on me a few times, (**workout your outer cable length first**) your better off laying the dropper post on the rear tyre, cable end of dropper facing towards the handle bars, wrap some masking tape around the dropper post and rear wheel rim to hold it in place on the top of the rear tyre, put the cable threw the frame and gromets fit the dropper end of the cable first while it is still taped to the tyre and then fit the lever on the other end, pull the cable tight and clamp it in the lever,(this keeps the cable tight when sliding the dropper down the seat tube) 🙂, remove the masking tape and slide the dropper post into the seat tube, feeding the cable threw the frame as you go, fit the level on to the handle bars last with the bracket. adjust any slack with the threaded adjuster on the lever, hope this helps everyone with a quick and easy install........

Hey Bud, nice work, can i ask you why you choose 275 over 290?

    • @RichMTB
      @RichMTB  ปีที่แล้ว +1

For me I prefer smaller wheels as I feel they are more fun. To me a big 29er (used to have an escarpe 290) take a lot of the joy out of it. If you ride XC or plan to race then 290 is the best choice.
For for someone like me who just likes to mess about and not take things to serious 275 is key. All each to their own and what you intend to use it for.

@@RichMTB Hi, I am almost the same height - 187cm and I just wonder if I should go for XL or L size. What is your style of riding? At this moment I have NS Surge L size frame and I feel it way to short for me (reach 409,0 mm). When I ride it with the seat at the max height I feel like I am sitting on the bike, not in the bike. I want from the bike to be playfull and aggresive in the bikeparks but comfortable to go for a ride in the forest. Let's say I could sacrafice the comfort for better handling in the bikeparks.
