She is a true rare contralto...normally only heard on an opera stage....she chooses to do other stuff. She is 15 years old here. Check out "Rechenka" when she was 14 on the same show...its way better. Her back story is really sad and scary, but she was saved by a wonderful person who has guided her most of her life.

Now we know what the true meaning of "Rich" is when describing a priceless voice! So glad "this generation" has a chance to hear "Wicked Games" by Rick Isaak. and this amazing interpretation by a gift from God. I don't know what is going on these days with young girls with such deep voices but with Diana and Angelina Jordan they both have crazy deep natural voices (will let vocal coaches determine who can go lower). In 2018 and 2019, a unique international competition 'You are Super', especially for adopted and orphaned children, was launched in Moscow. Diana taked part an won. These performances were broadcast nationwide, uploaded to TH-cam and have made Diana known worldwide. She now has any Millions of fans all over the world. In Kremlin Palace taked place the final of international singing competition for children 'You are super!'. The winner of the season is determined by a 6-day viewer vote.
Igor Krutoi, mentor and jury member of the competition, gifted Diana an apartment in Moscow. So, she could continue her vocal training with the best teachers such as Professor Olga Donskaya (videos on TH-cam).
The break of voice made her voice darker and deeper. She has worked hard to get the lost high notes back and wants to expand her vocal range to 3 octaves, which currently ranges from E3 - E5 (contralto). Her genres are folk-rock, folk-pop, jazz, soul, blues, soldier songs a Diana-stil. She likes to paint and draw, so much that we can be glad that she decided to sing… But did you notice she holds a microphone only in the right-hand? The left-hand underlines and paint, what she is singing. Diana puts her whole soul into each song. That all makes her performances special and unique.
But she's not just a great singer and storyteller, she's also a humble, intelligent and hardworking young woman, who loves her family and appreciates, what they sacrifice for her. She loves her fans (they are 'Friends' to her) and she is grateful, that they helped to improve her home studio. On TH-cam Prof. Donskaya und Diana also regularly answers the many questions of her Friends. Her Russian Friends chosen Diana as "National Treasure" (no official title).
In her home studio, she is currently experimenting (Corona time) a lot with different music genres and performing on both large and small stages.
2020 Diana graduated from school and in September she has become a student at the Russian Institute of Theater Arts. She studies in the specialty "Variety Artist". She also wants to learn to compose and arrange her own songs.
She will only take part in major competitions if invited. Such competitions require a lot of time, effort and strength. As a result, the participants later often have major educational gaps and problems. Diana is a smart young woman. She focuses on her studies, her voice and expanding her repertoire. Great reaction :D Diana is simply amazing! There are very few true contralto voices around. The most popular through the last 5 or so decades is probably Cher :) I highly recommend that you do a reaction to Diana singing Rechenka - The River, also performed at the same competition. She was 14 when Wicked Game was recorded and 15 when Rechenka was aired. Hugs from Norway :)

She is a true rare contralto...normally only heard on an opera stage....she chooses to do other stuff. She is 15 years old here. Check out "Rechenka" when she was 14 on the same show...its way better. Her back story is really sad and scary, but she was saved by a wonderful person who has guided her most of her life.
There is not a single contralto in the troupe of the Bolshoi Theater Moscow. Even for the Opera, this is very rare.

So glad "this generation" has a chance to hear "Wicked Games" by Rick Isaak. and this amazing interpretation by a gift from God. It is a classic and if you've never heard of the late Roy Orbison (or even Elvis!), you will hear the sound of a timeless era that was as naturally beautiful as its stories were pure of love. Kudos to guitarist Jame Calvin Wilsey as well for his hauntingly beautiful intro. ...And the set designer captured the essence and depth of the song along with the "wicked" vocals flowing out of Diana's mouth!
A year later she is no less captivating. I hope some very imaginative producer finds her and makes amazing concept albums.

Schnell you have discovered the young very talented Russian singer Diana Ankudinova. I don't know what is going on these days with young girls with such deep voices but with Diana and Angelina Jordan they both have crazy deep natural voices (will let vocal coaches determine who can go lower). Diana is also very theatrical on stage which adds to her performance, something Angelina has yet to add to her performances. Many thanks for your first Thursday reaction video. If you care to hear how low Angelina can sing with awesome control there is a great song which is only available on a few reaction videos so it wouldn't be anything you can react to.
