It's an incredible show in which talented children without parental care have a chance to express themselves and demonstrate their vocal abilities to the whole country.
Over the years the project "You are super!" the show helped young stars to reveal their vocal talents and take their first steps into
a professional musical career. Some participants fulfilled their dream and found their long-awaited parents.
In the first two seasons, the project involved children from Russia and the CIS and Baltic countries

Great reaction :D Diana is simply amazing! There are very few true contralto voices around. The most popular through the last 5 or so decades is probably Cher :) I highly recommend that you do a reaction to Diana singing Rechenka - The River, also performed at the same competition. She was 14 when Wicked Game was recorded and 15 when Rechenka was aired. Hugs from Norway :)

Diana has something mysterious, mystical in her voice. She is a dramatic contralto, the rarest contralto-type. If Dimash is the universe, then Diana is the earth, our home... and when you hear her voice, you feel like, she's wrapped you in a warm velvet blanket and serving you a cup of hot, dark chocolate.
Diana was born May 2003. 31 in Arsenyev in the Far East Russia. She didn't have a happy start in life. The woman, who gave her birth, had 12 pregnancies, only Diana survived... and she did not want Diana either, mistreated her severely and tried to drown her. Relatives found the child with a broken collarbone on the street and took the 3-year-old girl to a children's home shortly thereafter. Finally, there she found love... from Irina Ponik. She worked as a massage therapist and treated children from the orphanage. Irina Ponik and her daughter Nastya fell in love with Diana. Taking a child into the family was of course not easy for Irina... but she adopted Diana at the age of 5 and became, as I call it, Diana's 'real mother'. Diana has lived in a poor but loving family ever since. Since she was lagging in her speech development and even stuttered, she received singing lessons on the advice of a doctor.
In 2012, the family moved thousands of kilometers away, to Togliatti, because Diana did not let go of the fear, that the woman, who gave her birth, would take her away.
Diana's voice and sense of rhythm were extraordinary even as a little girl and so, she convinced with her talent in over 50 national and international competitions. Her confidence grew, her voice continued to develop, and Diana's stage costumes swallowed up the family budget. So, her mother completed sewing courses and has been sewing all the clothes herself since then.
One day Diana was asked to take part in competitions farther away, so that other children would have a chance to win.

To the general surprise, none of the judges turned around but the whole audience gave 'standing ovation'. The next day, a huge scandal broke out in social medias. People demanded for Diana's participation in the competition.
In 2018 and 2019, a unique international competition 'You are Super', especially for adopted and orphaned children, was launched in Moscow. Diana taked part an won. These performances were broadcast nationwide, uploaded to TH-cam and have made Diana known worldwide. She now has any Millions of fans all over the world. In Kremlin Palace taked place the final of international singing competition for children 'You are super!'. The winner of the season is determined by a 6-day viewer vote.
Igor Krutoi, mentor and jury member of the competition, gifted Diana an apartment in Moscow. So, she could continue her vocal training with the best teachers such as Professor Olga Donskaya (videos on TH-cam).
The break of voice made her voice darker and deeper. She has worked hard to get the lost high notes back and wants to expand her vocal range to 3 octaves, which currently ranges from E3 - E5 (contralto). Her genres are folk-rock, folk-pop, jazz, soul, blues, soldier songs a Diana-stil. She likes to paint and draw, so much that we can be glad that she decided to sing… But did you notice she holds a microphone only in the right-hand? The left-hand underlines and paint, what she is singing. Diana puts her whole soul into each song. That all makes her performances special and unique.
But she's not just a great singer and storyteller, she's also a humble, intelligent and hardworking young woman, who loves her family and appreciates, what they sacrifice for her. She loves her fans (they are 'Friends' to her) and she is grateful, that they helped to improve her home studio. On TH-cam Prof. Donskaya und Diana also regularly answers the many questions of her Friends. Her Russian Friends chosen Diana as "National Treasure" (no official title).
In her home studio, she is currently experimenting (Corona time) a lot with different music genres and performing on both large and small stages.
2020 Diana graduated from school and in September she has become a student at the Russian Institute of Theater Arts. She studies in the specialty "Variety Artist". She also wants to learn to compose and arrange her own songs.
She will only take part in major competitions if invited. Such competitions require a lot of time, effort and strength. As a result, the participants later often have major educational gaps and problems. Diana is a smart young woman. She focuses on her studies, her voice and expanding her repertoire. Now we know what the true meaning of "Rich" is when describing a priceless voice! So glad "this generation" has a chance to hear "Wicked Games" by Rick Isaak. and this amazing interpretation by a gift from God. It is a classic and if you've never heard of the late Roy Orbison (or even Elvis!), you will hear the sound of a timeless era that was as naturally beautiful as its stories were pure of love. Kudos to guitarist Jame Calvin Wilsey as well for his hauntingly beautiful intro. ...And the set designer captured the essence and depth of the song along with the "wicked" vocals flowing out of Diana's mouth!
She is a true rare contralto...normally only heard on an opera stage....she chooses to do other stuff. She is 15 years old here. Check out "Rechenka" when she was 14 on the same show...its way better. Her back story is really sad and scary, but she was saved by a wonderful person who has guided her most of her life.
