"Ghetto Cyrano" has got to be one of (if not, THE) most underrated albums in music history. That whole project was nothing short of brilliant. My Opinion, of course.
Competition in the 90's was fierce! Every label signed Black R&B acts and rappers who all were very good. We had too many artists to choose from at one point and many talented people were lost in the crowd.
Facts...P made sure his whole squad was on...even the B & C list artist. In the year 1998, No Limit put out over 20 studio albums, & most of them went either gold or platinum!! That's what your label supposed to do for you as a artist...get the music out to the people!!

However, they needed a bigger venue. Many people, especially women, wanted them to succeed. They had natural talent and massive sex appeal. Maybe they posed a threat to Jay. Who knows, but if they still have their “appeal,” life is evergreen. They should def get under better management and give it another go...😊💕💯

These dudes had one hit, and now years later they're crying about why the Roc screwed them over. They should've known how marketing and promotion worked back in the 90s, and if nobody is feeling your stuff they're not going to buy your album. In order to go gold and platinum in the 90s you really had to put in that work. Yes "Full of Smoke" was a great song but listen to the rest of their album "Ghetto Cyrano." The production on that album was garbage. Bleek sold, Beenie sold, Jay sold, wasn't nobody listening to no damn Christion.
