Bro, you are a gift to the skateboarding community! Thanks so much!!
I appreciate that! Way more content coming soon!
This taught me invert
I got a pimp'd out helmet just like you, I gotta get my full pad set before I try this. When I land it i'll tag you in it!
Can’t wait for an eggplant trick tip, I recently landed them after 12 years since I last did them and would love something as in depth as this, amazing work and attitude
Vert season is coming up!
So freaking awesome!!! 👏👏👏👏👍😍👍👍💪💪🤘🤘🤘
SICK!!! such a rare gem of a trick nowadays, cant wait to start learnin
Thanks for all the tips, and for taking slams on the way.
Pain comes and goes, not giving 110% lasts forever! Get one!
subscribed! Thanks for the detailed walkthrough, been looking for a walkthrough like this all week!
Thanks for this video!!!!
You’re awesome Trog!👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻. I’m stoked to get after this invert game! Thanks for the tips and encouragement🤘🏼.
He says its best to be clear headed and well prepared for learning such a difficult trick.
I learnt it after a bottle of bucky while wearing a balaclava..
Both work I guess
You my friend are an oddity!
Best invert trick tip video on the Internet, thanks a ton man!
awesome instructions! thank you!
tag me on Insta when you land one or if you get stuck. I am always down to help people succeed.
Good job, well done 👍
So sick
Nice! great tutorial :)
great tutorial !
Awesome. Great trick tip. Got the backside air last year and I know I'll get the invert as soon as it stops raining
Fantastic information dude! I love how in-depth you actually go and some of the mindset behind it! Really appreciate it, I've wanted this trick since I was a kid and I'm gonna give it a shot tomorrow
Any progress to report? Did you get it?
@@trogarmy welp I'm on the east coast so progress has been slow as its been snowing. But I've tried a few and definitely think I'll be able to do them this spring!
Bar none the most useful/comprehensive invert tricktip out there. You always kill these more advanced trick tips. What happened to the mini vert ramp? That thing looked like a good time.
Vert is dead in Minnesota. There are only about 2 dozen of us in total who dare brave the high altitude. So i was told to remove it and make a more kid friendly zone. No worries though because i think i am going to set it up in my backyard. lol
Your channel is so underrated. Awesome instruction.
Shhhhh. This is a top secret channel.lol
appreciate the material bro
Hey bro thx great job explaining this
I hope it helps get more people going upside down! the IRL upside down!
Man you’re the best at these trick tips!!!!! Have you ever gone egg? The way you describe these tricks always absolutely resonates with me and I usually have a way easier time learning them!
King of 3rd lair, this dude is a great teacher
Egg plants yes!!! This summer I want to compose a vert how to series and Eggs will be in that list.
The guy could hold skate lessons people would be listening to him for sure. He is the professor.
Great tutorial, thank you a lot! Greetings from France
Thanks for tuning in from France. Have you been able to put one down?
Not yet, I hurt my self by falling from a big vert ramp so I'm not ready to use my wrist for now haha... But thanks anyway, great tips for transitions tricks@@trogarmy
So good, rammed it down
Well I’m far away from trying this. But always pleasure to watch and learn..
Keep setting your goals. much appreciated
Love how methodical your approach to learning these tricks is. I can't find a vert ramp near me, is it possible to do early grab baby inverts on a 5 ft mini ramp?
Check out ronnie Sandoval and erik witkowski for proof that they can be done on lower ramps. When you early grab you loose lots of power
Actually useful ffs thank you. Ace
Soo sick! Such a cool trick! Your land looked awesome! Thanks for the trick tip vid! I want this one so bad! Do you think it would be easier on a ramp bigger with more vert or do you recommend a trick like this to start smaller like 8?
personally I think it would have been more of a challenge on vert to learn. in the video i mentioned i learned on a 8' ramp. however, learning on a bigger ramp gives more room for error and recovery
@@trogarmy interesting. Thanks for the tips man! Definitely want this one in the bag
Great video and tips guys. I have a problem with boning my front leg out skyward, then I can't get the board back under me and I go back down the transition in the back seat and wash out. For the life of me, I cannot keep my front leg tucked in. What am I doing wrong? Is it my approach or my speed?
All the best, Rich in Sweden.
so rad. I'm close to these on vert. This will help a lot. Is there any kind of 'push' off the straight arm?
Around the 15min mark...'push through'.
@@pg5420 thanks.
Do you have tips for variations of the backside invert ? Eggplant , Elguerial , Andrect ??
No videos but a great tip is to watch the old shut up and skate NSA contests from mid 80’s
Any tips for someone who has this trick down on smaller ramps but wants to take it to vert?
This year I want to start skating the vert ramp when the UK parks open back up properly and this is one of the only "vert" style tricks I got so far.
check out my how to backside and frontside air videos. you want the trifecta. the Hosoi Challenge. do all 3 everyday you skate. all the tips i have are in this video. if you can do them on 6ft ramps take it to a 8 or 9 fter
@@trogarmy Cheers dude, I absolutely want the trifecta!
Well I'm stuck with a 5 foot quarter. Never been able to do it on the coping I know it's possible cause I've seen others do it. but still alot of fun
I have seen it done too. Lots of core strength needed on the smaller ramps!
Where's this park? I live just north of the Minnesota/ Canada border and used to come down to Minny pretty often. I'd love to come try this park, even though my ramp skills are pretty bad
3rd Lair is just west of Minneapolis in Golden Valley Minnesota
@@trogarmy cool, I'll have to check it out next time I'm down
Do you have any tips for how my approach should be different with a smaller ramp ( 5-6 ft)?
Yes there is one main difference. When learning or attempting them on a mini ramp you will have to more than likely early, early grab which is means a wheelbase below the coping. You will also have to go much faster to make up for the early grab and mega load of weight, see load and unload art of ram video. essentially you will kill your entire pump with the early grab so compensate with more speed.
I have never successfully did a hand on coping invert on a mini ramp but i have seen it done by greats like Erick Winkowski and Ronnie Sandoval maybe even Ben Raybourne. With that said I have done a Andrecht which is a melon grabbed invert on a 6.5' ramp when i was younger. Let me know if that helps and feel free to send me over footage via Instagram or link to your TH-cam page
@@trogarmy Thanks! I Will definitely send you some footage!
Can you do a tip on frontside boneless in bowl
Shallow or deep?
@@trogarmy either one. Whenever I try them I always end up not in transition
@@wesktit5225 absolutely
Also a great point to make mention of in that video. Thank you
Teach me lien airs please
that will have to wait till vert season this summer but ill put it on the list. do you have lien to tail?
@@trogarmy i have a ugly lien to tail, but i can do lien airs on hips, im tryng in a low part to rhe vert ramp in my bowl, but i cant do in the vert part
@@yaelgtzsk8 I love old Chris Miller footage if you are lookin for inspiration also Grant Taylor
@@trogarmy Is lien air just another name for frontside air? Or are they different grabs? I thought you already made video on frontside airs, no?
@@ruihengjin4633 different airs. Lien is a front hand grab
Huh.... Backside airs First.. 💪🏽🛹🫀
They are way easier boss.
What? 10 to 15 tries to get this? LMAO. Im easily over 100, counting all the ones from the beginning at ground level to learn the motion. Im almost there now, just have a lot of trouble with landing, i just cant come back to normal position. launching, grabbing, the motion, i have it all, just landing is the problem. My kneepads are taking a beating because im doing it on a concrete bowl, and im using a wristguard on my grab hand and its almost destroyed from all the sliding. Can you give me some tips for the landing, you almost said nothing about it.
The Art of Ramp sounds dope... The Art of Ram, as in your title, makes no sense
I get you. Just my mantra is RAM it Down. thanks for tuning into some low quality production high quality content!
Too much talk bro
I do love talking. A lot. I'm sure there will be a better shorter trick tip on this someday
