Hi, Just a Dad! I recently received my Nespresso Pop machine, and yes, it makes a STRONG cup of coffee. We still have our Keurig, and I can see myself switching between both machines, depending on my coffee desire for the day. I'm still playing with the various Nespresso pods, and I'm having fun with that. Thanks for another great review.
This is just an amazing thing - I love my Keurig and can't live without it, but by God, this is something else. - I can't believe how good the coffee this machine makes is!! I will be stocking up on pods.
If Iam in USA, I will always go for Kcup, best quality of brew coffee and best option from all over the shop, easy to find, inexpensive and delicious..but for Cappuccino lovers, yah Nespresso will be much better
Ok Dad I have a question before I make the leap of faith. I have a Keurig Supreme plus and it does a pretty good job all around. The only reason that I would buy a Nespresso machine is that I am looking for a delicious rich ( not strong ) but rich tasting cup of coffee. I suppose I can learn how to make some fancy bev's but I cant handle a blazing strong cup of anything. I add cream to my coffee. So you touched on how strong the coffee is from this machine. Do they have pods that are rich and delicious or is it all strong town USA?
I have the 1st generation vertuo machine It is fantastic. But I think I'm gonna upgrade to this one. But there's a big difference between this and a keurig The capsules here are aluminum and nespresso Really promotes recycling and throw them. You can get free recycling bags and then you can then send them back via UPS or a nespresso Boutique store. Now the one that's closest to me over by portland Is here in oregon When you take a bag of capsules back, they will plant a tree in the gorge . Also to the channel uploader, not only does it read the barcode for the amount of water. It reads the specific parameters that nespresso Has tested in recommended for each individual Coffee and or espresso that includes the amount of water The temperature of that water On what brings out The best in that coffee Whatever the taste profile Should be .
@@notuptome I bought this same one on Cyber Monday to give it to my best friend and I hope it is worth the investment. She currently has a Keuring since 2019 and always complains that her coffees are too watered down because it is an espresso girl like me I bought it to give it to her for Christmas and I hope it's worth it :)
Helpful video. I believe the Pop+ Deluxe does not come in pretty colors you discuss.. It appears that a benefit of the deluxe model is the larger (taller) water tank. I am trying to determine whether there are other benefits of going with the Deluxe vs. the standard model.
I never tried this coffee but I think one of the reasons it always gets high reviews for its coffee is the quality control it has with its pods which is good and bad. Since Keurig lost its patent anybody can make pods which some companies make awful pods. But Nespresso pods are so expensive and they are hard to find. Will have to stick with my Keurig and the pods I like since Nespresso is too expensive for me.
Just out of curiosity, what are your thoughts between this machine and the ninja barista? I’ve watched both videos many times haha. Is the ninja machine equal in quality for the espresso aspect of it in your opinion? Love your videos and always go to your channel to look at videos before buying a new product.
Today, Apr-19th 2024 on both their website and on Walmart (Canadian sites) the cost has dropped to $99CN for this model. I am not sure how long this price will last. I have been considering one so this might be the best time for me to pull the trigger. :)
Will this brew the carafe size coffee? I used the comparison feature on the Nespresso Website, I compared the Pop+ to the Next and it says on there it will brew the carafe size pods as well. "Smallest Nespresso machine. Brews Carafe and Alto coffees. Next generation of Vertuo Technology." Would love to see this Pop+ compared to the Next. Thanks for your reviews! They are great!
What a shame. In Europe, specifically Spain, there is non Nespresso Vertuo pods they sell in grocery stores that are very cheap and great quality. I wish they had those options in the states. It just seems that they sell Nespresso pods in general in the states only…. With the option of Starbucks too.
Also your very limited on the flavor of coffee, and their only available through the company. You can buy replacement foil tops for the used pods. But again.. those are only available through the company
@@affliction6911 Foil tops are not sold through the company. Nespresso, for obvious reasons, would not endorse that. You can buy the foil tops through Amazon vendors. There is a cheaper option that worked for me (Glad Press 'N Seal wrap), though I still prefer the foil tops, but the main issue is not the top, its the quality of the coffee. No matter which coffee or grind size you put into the reused Nespresso pods, it doesn't taste as good as the ones sold by Nespresso. Even the Starbucks Nespresso Vertuo compatibles aren't that good.
Just got this for Christmas, very top of the line coffee compared to keurig. I've been a keurig guy for years..this is on a new level.
I hope youll get your own just a dad coffee machine. You're starting to have a coffee cult following

That is awesome!
This was so incredibly helpful!! Thank you so much! I just bought this and its my first nespresso machine. I was so lost! Lol
they send a code to scan that shows how to use it..

Finally the video I needed on this machine! Thank you
After buying this machine, when should one run the machine for descaling? How often should it be cleaned ?

Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Dad for this video, it was very helpful. 🙏
I just got one of those. Beautiful machine. The espresso is pretty on point 👍.
Hey there, how many cups can I use? Can I have a cup of coffee and then an espresso? Or will the machine overheat?
Question can any nespresso pods be used in these that's round or it has to be the nespresso brand
Any

Looks fancy but I still love my Keurig K cafe. Easy, not overly expensive, more options and delicious ☕
I totally agree!

Also, the deluxe has chrome trim pieces on it versus the black plastic on the regular pop plus
You have to rinse it each time before making coffee? Thanks
That’s optional
How loud is the machine during operation? I couldn't tell from the video if the mic was lowering the audible sound of the machine.
This machine is very loud. That’s true of most Nespresso machines now.
So since this reads the pods you’re not able to get a reusable pod and put your own espresso in there? Does anyone know?
Good review. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!

They do massive discounts and freebies all the time making it much cheaper
We now hv this and a lavazza and a K.
did you know you could make iced coffee with the nespresso vertuo pop it makes the best iced coffee ever

Yes, I got the same exact model for $99 on Amazon about two or three weeks ago!

Pop+ will not brew carafe size you need to get the bigger one vertuo plus or next
Lets hope this thing doesn't break like the NEXT machine.
I got the blue one!
Is that loud would it wake up the kids

I wish I had seen this before i bought the stupid machine
@affliction6911 doesnt amazon sells?
I hate the heavy duty cord. It’s too large. I put my machine away after use just because of that. Bad design.
You have misspell on title. It's Vertuo.
Dad, the correct name of this Nespresso lineup is Vertuo, not Veruo or Verio.
Sorry about that, I have such a hard time with this name,
@@JustADad No problem with that (it would sound something like "Vershuo"). Thanks for replying.
It made me smile, so adorable. My dad would have done the same thing 🥹
I didn't get anything...........just do it
