I do the 7,2r rule for clothes.......one for every single day and 2 for emergency travels or staying out ......it worked with everything and I’m grateful I followed that rule......a real money saver
Even the 2 supplementary ones weren’t used and I gave them as gifts to my cousins at the end of the day but it helped me reduce washing because I knew I would need them so I did laundry often to reduce doing so much laundry at the end of the week
I had to refrain from buying so many cute girl outfits when I was pregnant with my daughter because I knew we wouldn’t need a lot and they outgrow them so quickly. Your baby is adorable
Thank you very much💗 It’s definitely hard to resist baby clothes! I actually have a new video coming soon about how to save money on baby clothes💵 Thanks, Nessa😊
Hi, Nicolás! A big congratulations to you both, but I do understand how overwhelming & confusing this time can be while pregnant with baby. There are so many unknowns. I'm glad you found this video helpful though!😊 I think you'll find my baby registry video really helpful too: bit.ly/3urHEM8 I also have an essentials for 0-3 month baby & how to give a newborn baby a bath video coming out next month. Make sure you hit the bell to get these new video notifications!!
Thank you for this video! I have so few clothes for my future baby, but I feel like it's enough. However when I see other peoples' videos I start to second guess if we have enough! But I feel much better about what we have now :)
First off, CONGRATS💕 That's very exciting! I'm so glad you found this video helpful! I know it can be easy to go overboard while nesting (been there, done that lol), but you really don't need that much to take care of a baby in the beginning. Our daughter is 9 months now, and she still lives in her sleep n' plays! We rotate through the same 6 jammies every week. I will make sure to check out your channel too xo😊
Im gonna be a mom for the first time after two misscarriages this July with a Baby Girl🥰🤩 and this was really a great video i needed a video like this Love you So Much💞💞💞💞💞💞💞Please Pray for me🤍
Congratulations! That is such wonderful news💕 I’d always suggest to start with just a few clothes and grow your wardrobe as needed. I’m so excited for you to meet your baby😊
Of course!! Congrats on your new babe coming soon. I’m so glad it was a helpful video. I know that overwhelmed feeling when you are expecting your little one. Let me know if you have any other questions here or on IG!!😊💕
No worries! I know what you mean baby clothes are so stinkin’ cute🙈 I found that we started needing more clothes around 6-9 months & 9-12 once my daughter started eating solids/becoming more active. Congrats, mama🩷
Thank you, this was the first usefull prep video I have watched since becomming pregnant. I had the feeling newborns dont need much, but then after watching some "pintrest" moms getting ready, I get overwhelmed and start panic buying.
Hi, Erina! It warms my heart that this was a helpful video for you😊 I totally relate to being overwhelmed/stressed about all the baby stuff I thought I needed for a newborn while pregnant. Let me know if you have any other baby prep questions that I could help with. Hope you are having a great day!🤍
Hey, Marcel! Aww congrats that’s soo exciting💗 My daughter was born in May too! Feel free to reach out with any other questions you may have. Wishing you a good third trimester😊
I don't have any babies yet, but this video was very informative. Will definitely help me in the future as I tend to buy more than I need, lol. You're daughter is precious 🥰
My mom told me to not register for any clothes because people like buying that stuff. Also I'm like the last in my friend group to have kids so that's a plus
Hi, Esha! Hope you are well. This is the exact dresser we have (bit.ly/3jQPM4g) which we picked up from Buy Buy Baby in-store on clearance! Here is also a helpful video on how we organize all of Gigi's clothes in the dresser if you'd like to give it a watch too!😊💕 th-cam.com/video/4K6DzPWwmLE/w-d-xo.html
Hey, Elaine! I would love to make a video like that😊 I remember doing laundry 1x per week when Gigi was younger. I started doing laundry 2x a week as she became more mobile (~15 months). I also wash my clothes with my daughter’s in the same load of laundry for double duty & I definitely rewear the same outfits to cut down on laundry🧺
@@StephanieHajal Thank you for sharing this Stephanie!! And for how long were you able to live with those few clothing in the video? coz I was told that babies grow super fast, so not sure if you had those for different sizes as well?
@@elainezhu7780 This worked well for us until she was around 4/5 months! We mostly started out with 0-3 month clothes (instead of newborn) as well. I like to follow the 7x2 rule = 7 outfits for each day of the week plus 2 outfits for accidents. I have a couple of capsule wardrobe videos on my channel that might be helpful too✨
Thank you very much💗👶🏼 I definitely went into extreme nesting mode & we had wayyy too many clothes. I’d love to pass along this advice to expecting mamas! Have a wonderful day😊
I’m soo glad you found it helpful😊 I was really surprised how little we needed in the beginning! Our baby is 8 months now, and I’m still loving the zipper pajamas💗
Of course!! I'm so glad it was helpful😊 I couldn't find much about it either when I was pregnant with our baby girl. Please feel free to reach out if you have any other motherhood questions💕
Hi, Taylor! Thanks so much for watching😊 It's the Boppy newborn lounger pillow which has been recalled for safety issues in 2021. Instead, I would recommend something like the Snuggle Me, DockATot, or a similar version like this one on Amazon (*affiliate link) amzn.to/3M0M5EY. Hope that helps💗
Hey, Alessandra! We mostly used 0-3 month sizes when our daughter was born. We had about 5 newborn size onesies, but she quickly outgrew them within the first 3-4 weeks. Hope that helps! Totally recommend Carter’s clothes😊💕
Hi, Aggy! Congrats on your sweet baby💗 Those clothes sure add up quickly. I noticed we only needed more clothes once my daughter started walking/getting into more messes haha!
Your baby is so sweet!! Mine went thru more but they also ended up with acid reflux so basically threw up all day on themselves and on me 😔 its hard to really know but best to be prepared!
My babe wore 2 a day one outfit and one sleeper. She’s 2 months and still in newborn clothes and diapers. I barley bought any newborn stuff or the reason they’re not in it long.
Thank you for uploading the videos and charts. I am keeping myself from buying those little cute clothes because i know our baby will grow up fast from it and we need more rooms for more things. =)
Hey! I’m soo glad this was a helpful video😊 Those newborn baby clothes are so stinkin’ cute & tempting, aren’t they? Babies sure do grow fast! Wishing you well on your journey x
I Didn't buy any newborn size clothes cause some of the clothes seems so small in 0-3 months. Should i buy anything in newborn size? Or 0-3 months will fit anyway?
I felt the same way - so tiny! I had about 5 newborn onesies and a newborn “coming home” outfit, but my daughter mostly wore 0-3 month clothing from the day she was born. They were a little big for the first month, but definitely got more wear out of them as she grew! I’d mostly go with 0-3 month clothing. Hope that helps✨
I was worried I didn’t have enough because I’m tend to be a minimalist for financial reasons, but turns out I have the perfect amount, no need to stress over not having the “right” amount!
It’s good to start off simple! I remember being so stressed about getting everything “right” before baby’s arrival (...the hormones probably😆). I realized babies really don’t need much in the beginning! Food, clean diapers, & lots of love💗
It's been 9 years since I gave birth to a baby... and dont plan on having another again 😁 but I still remember the excitement of having a baby. Great video! 😊
Hey, Laure! I know it probably sounds crazy, right?🙊 I was surprised to learn that newborns do not need as frequent bathing as adults because it can disrupt their skin's protective barrier that works to fight infection.
