- When Gwyneth Paltrow defended herself in court against an optometrist who claimed the Oscar winner crashed into him on a ski slope, it was must-see TV. Now, we are hearing the untold story of the trial. “Gwyneth vs Terry: The Ski Crash Trial" claims that Paltrow’s lawyers turned optometrist Terry Sanderson’s three daughters against each other. "Gwyneth Paltrow's lawyers were absolutely vicious," says journalist Daniel Bates. However, one juror tells Inside Edition she didn't see it that way.

The defences strategy to use the family history against Sanderson is so interesting 😮. I guess the defence was trying assassinate Sanderson’s character by brining up his personal life and how he doesn’t even get along with his own family - that destroyed his credibility - the alleged history of betrayal and deceit, painting him as untrustworthy. And if upon being cross-examined Sanderson contradicts anything that was said he would be deemed anunreliable witness.
For anyone who did not watch the trial, the ending cross examination by paltrows attorney was devastating and frankly hilarious. Terry the plaintiff was "trying to get money and seem cool for having a run in with a celebrity. "It was plain as day. He is not the first person to do it, but I don't understand how he thought he could win after everything he did. 🤣

@@scorpiocara6798Despite his claims that the alleged crash caused him a "traumatic brain injury", "serious permanent disability" and "devastating metal and emotional" injuries, he posted photo and video of many activities and vacations including hiking and multiple ski trips he took after the alleged crash.
It was for the jury to determine if his claims of injuries and permanent disabilities were true or not. Apparently they felt his claims were not true.

Similar accident happened to me snowboarding. I was only 10 years old and a random girl (maybe in her mid 20s, not sure) was losing her balance when she grabbed me to steady herself, then she shoved me off the track to then hit a tree. this was my first experience snowboarding, I never went again. might pick it up again someday
