Always love Elly Ameling, sumptuous voice, and the trumpet (Maurice Andre) is perfect; I much prefer this forward tempo to another recording of hers under a different conductor, which was plodding.

c'est magnifique : la voix semble plutot petite mais elle en tire le maximum et me semble t il, n'a jamais chanté à contre emploi. Beaucoup de pseudo chanteuses d'opéra, inaudibles, devraient en tirer des leçons et penser davantage à l'articulation, au phrasé, à la ligne vocale, à l'homogénéité du timbre
