I love your videos, beautiful scenery & you guys can ride. Are any of you trained or certified in Avalanche protocol? Do you throughout the day, stop & test the snow for risks? I'd imagine if you did, you show that from time to time. Ok...what are the odds as I'm typing this...7:00 happens. You should show more of the process though.
Actually I’m embarrassed to say I’m not. I have taken a class. I tried to organize my ast 1 this year but for certain reasons I won’t discuss, I wasn’t able to secure a class. I do ride with lots of guys that have their ast 1 though. I usually go by the saying of “if you don’t know, don’t go” I like to play it safe.
Ya know I noticed that you and the Turbo Sleds when you come to a stop tend to shut off the sled as soon as you stop, yes I know you trade sleds every year but you ought to let the sled idle 5 or 10 seconds before you kill it! Reason being the Turbo is still spinning big time after a big pull, just gives it a second to slow down before the oil cooks! Thats all, Great Riding Great Videos!!!

There is a recall on the pieps beacons, I thinks it's for exactly what your buddy experienced, they are offering a new case that keeps it from switching to off by accident.

You don't seem too concerned about tree wells in that deep snow. That seems crazy to me. I guess it is harder to get your whole sled sucked under, but man. I seen a video of a moose that got sucked into a tree well and a couple skiers dug him out. That deep pow scares me just as much as it taunts me lol
Why is shredding in the mountains so much fun? My answer: Its compared to a visual experience of flying in the clouds because your riding a machine that can lift you up on top of a really soft substance similar to what a cloud looks like it should feel like while eliminating the horrific fear of heights and the slopes add to the sensation of being in a 3D world like in the air rather than 2D like on the ground.
Is that green dirt bike a 250 or 450? I love the timber sled that's a sweet guy to add to the group. Seem like it goes through deep stuff just doesn't have tons of power that's why I asked if it was a 450. I've always wanted to get a track kit for my 450 but never found the $
Does the throttle response on the boost vary in deeper snow? At some points in the video it didn't sound as snappy as previous days in the more setup snow.

Ive been hooked on your channel now for pretty much the whole season and I have a question: How do you fund your venture here? is it from the proceeds of the channel or are you wealthy or is it something else? and all the people you ride with? how does your dad come out for over a month financially?
His pops owns a construction company, and Matt works there during the summer months. He has a few videos on it. You can't do much construction/ground work in the winter so they head out west to ride. I could be wrong but I don't think this channel gets enough views to bring in any kind of substantial income from TH-cam. Pretty hard to be poor and ride sleds because it's an expensive sport, but I don't think he is "rich" either. I think he works and just prioritizes spending his time/money this way. I don't know about the other riders but in some videos from past seasons it came up and a lot of them worked as logging/equipment operators, which can pay pretty good and often leaves a lot of down time in the winter.

What size tracks were u guys riding? I haven't been able to get a 175 stuck very easy, but got the 165 stuck a lot.
