This is the best review for this rifle I have seen. I cant help but think you have been lucky with the unit you have been sent. There are many unsatisfied customers with stoeger guns in general.

Take the baffles out, and look up Aaron Cantrell's p35 hair roller mod. My .177 Bullshark is shooting JSB Knockout 10.3s at 1000 fps and will do moa at 100 yards. It's a beast.

i own a full-power version and pretty sure the groupings are better, at 30m I get all pellets touching groups with JSB 18.1. There's quite a barrel lottery with the SPA-made rifles, I seem to have won.

The only thing I can say you missed on this review Rack is that the gun is regulated,I own one and the grouping is a lot tighter with the correct pellets, try zan slugs through it and watch the group go down to 10 or 12 mm c to c

@@bachaterolion8289 yes have sent it back to importers, found out it was under powered and tweaked the regulator but power level wouldn’t go up, the last attempt I put it back together and it had a leak couldn’t get it to hold air , it was going in the cylinder through the regulator,up the block, out the transfer port and down the barrel, but before that I was shooting ten grain zan slugs through it and getting ten millimetre groups at 25 yards (group measurement is edge to edge)

The problem with these and the p35 is the regs are set for fac so they come into the country with the regs set to 120 bar . Ideally you want the reg down to 70 bar and the porting opened up .that is the best way to set them up for this country . It also means the cocking is much lighter and the action will be much quieter, mines currently in getting tuned as the reg was all over the place

    • @aboutthemetal8783

I had one of these in .22 Andrew's t's accuracy was problematic once one took it past 18 yds to say the least no matter what pellets I used. Eventually after sending it back and even receiving a replacement from the importer I gave up with it and got a refund. A shame as it was a nice rifle to handle.

Looks like stoeger have finally produced something that actually can hit home and produce decent results, I’ve had two stoeger break barrels the last one which you have rack and both were absolutely crap, the pellets would tumble and accuracy were terrible.
Now this one I was quite interested in until I saw the magazine, why can’t these manufacturers take a leaf out of Weihrauch’s book and produce magazines like they have, I have dexterity problems and I can’t fiddle on with these types of mags, I believe that Hatsan also have similar mags to Weihrauch too, no fiddling about especially when out at night you can fill by feel if need be. The gun apart from that seems a cracker and would be a brilliant budget vermin basher.

@@blackops.bowhunter559 The Stoger XM1 is basically a P 35 with a fresh stock and a 3 to 5 year warranty depending upon what literature you read. The Artemis/Snowpeak P 35 has quite a cult following of its own but seems to be hit or miss on barrel quality. I was thinking about getting into PCP air gunning and thought this would be a good mid range option to see if I like the sport. I’ve looked at dozens of higher end guns and keep coming back to dumping a lot of money into a sport that I’m gonna also have to come up with a tank option and a compressor. I thought my first PCP gun should definitely be a Bull Pup, 22 caliber, forward cocking handle, very good trigger, Prefer but not mandatory on an integral modifier in the shroud over a screw on suppressor. I thought maybe something that I could tinker on learn more about the sport and decide which way I wanted to go might be a better way to look at it. Then again buying something and having it work right out of the box and not have to do anything to it does have some advantages. Even if it is 3 to 4 times the cost.
Some of the bull pups I’ve considered are : FX wildcat MK3, taipan veteran 2, KaliberGun ARGUS 45, Air Arms Galahad, Airgun Technology Vulcan 2, Edgun Matador, Walther Reign 2, Daystate Pulsar.
I’ll agree with you on the cyber truck is definitely Fugally. I’m not much on the electric vehicle concept. When you look at where all the ingredients have to come from to make the batteries and when we have an abundance of oil and natural gas…….
