    This version is for computer, right? Because Power director phone version has only a trash can icon to delete a clip but no right click function to choose what insert / delete options

      That is correct.

    Hi Steve, sometimes I want to cut out a clip in the timeline and save that for a possible future use rather than delete it. I have tried many things,but it just will not let me save the cut out clip into a folder. Is there a way to do that?

      I don't know of a holding area where you can temporarily keep the clip, DIY. However, if you pre-trim the clip in the Media Room using a tool like Content Aware Editing, you can save it in your Media
      Room until you're ready to load it to the timeline.

    I have deleted a video clip in the middle of my timeline and selected move all tracks on the timeline. It left a black space for 3 seconds where the clip was deleted. How do I get rid of that without having to go in and move every single clip behind that one?

      It depends on a lot of things, including what is all your parallel tracks. If you'd like to post your question to our free Community Forum at Muvipix.com we'll be glad to help you figure it out.

    I have power Director 15. When I try to drag an additional clip to track two it wont go to track two. When I drag the second clip onto the timeline, a large blue highlight, highlights the entire timeline from top to bottom. When I release the mouse button, it slides the clip on track one to the right and inserts in front of it. No matter what I try, that's what happens and will not insert onto track two. It's really getting irritating! LOL. Any idea why this is happening?

      If you're not seeing what I demonstrate in this tutorial, something is wrong -- though I don't know what. If you'd like to post your question to our free Community Forum at Muvipix.com, we'll be glad to help you troubleshoot it though.

      Thanks Steve. I uploaded a video showing exactly what it is doing.Can you take a look at it for me? I even deleted power director from my computer and re installed it from the cd,but it still behaves the same. Let me know what you think after the video demonstration. thanks. th-cam.com/channels/IIy99WQX0Pe1g7XerhEseg.html?view_as=subscriber

      I'm sorry, DIY. I can't explore that here on TH-cam. But as I said before, if you'd like to post your question and link to our free Community Forum at Muvipix.com, we'll be glad to help you troubleshoot it.

    When I add an image clip and choose overwrite, the audio is still out of synch with the speaker after the clip. You don't cover this.

      There are a number of possible causes for this, and I cover some in other tutorials. But if you want to troubleshoot it, please post your question to our free Community Forum at Muvipix.com and we'll help you out.

    • @sgrisetti
      @sgrisetti  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      By trimming or slicing, as I show you in Part 4 of my 8 part Basic Training series th-cam.com/video/0E2-dywTTa4/w-d-xo.html
