It is actually December 1-15, 2006.
Doha, Qatar stunned the world with dazzling opening and closing ceremonies at the 15th Asian Games. True to its boast, Doha put up a show that was opulent in scale, magnificent in its imagery and perfect in precision, with lilting music and flambouyant costumes. Tony and Broadway winner Filipina sensation Lea Salonga performed the Games' theme song "Triumph of The One" composed by Australia's National Songwriter of the Year, Ms. Kylie Burtland. The amazing ceremonies was produced and directed by British director David Atkins.
