Speedrun link: www.speedrun.com/epic_war_3/run/m7xx539y This is my second run after a long time. I managed to get my world record back by planning my run much deeper in the game and trying to use a different hero. Overall, it was a successful run, with the exception that I forgot to equip the Lighting Bolt when I unlocked the Black Knight, as both unlock at the same time. The first levels are the most difficult as with only your starting units you will have to deal with one of the following units: -Black Knight (Easiest) -2 Centaur Archers -Black Knight + 2 Centaurs -Black Knight + 2 Centaurs (spawning about 2:40) -Witch (spawning about 1:40) The second most difficult part of the game is the Succubus in the fire territory. They are powerful enough to stop you alone and are also hard to kill, especially in the final phase. This is one of the reasons I ignored the yellow and teal during the run. This run took me 164+ attempts and a few days of research on how each level works.
This game with cheat engine speedhack at 500 times speed is so more fun, but in reality it’s only between 5 and 10x speed, cause flash is so old and unoptimized, that even the most powerful computer struggles to run it.
It's 0h"44"m30s, not 43". I prefer your Epic War 2 video most, sometimes I still watch your Epic War 2 WR video. It's really entertaining to see you handle with certain strong enemy squads at some critical moments. By the way, it's a pity that Paladog doesn't let players choose the upgrades by themselves, or it would be a good game to have an IGT run.
Thanks for noticing that mistake! I'm also very happy with my Epic War 2 run, I put a lot of time into each level and it's turned out to be better than I expected. This run on Epic War 3 was also worth it. I managed to cut the time of my last run by nearly a quarter, took back my world record and tried a new way of playing this game by starting with a different hero. Actually, it wasn't that easy, as the first few levels are much more difficult due to the type of enemies that appear than when you just play Viegraff the Red. I don't think Paladog is a game worth speedrunning though, even if you can choose your upgrades. I believe it's mostly going to be very tedious given the number of levels in that game and their similarity.
