What a lovely poem and drawing from your friend ❤️ You have become a very talented woodworker 😊 adapting the Ikea units for the attic was well thought out and executed with the help of renting the gadget saw 😂 Taking a small break from projects is an excellent idea if it isn't urgent give yourself some time to breathe and enjoy your home and garden. Burnout is real so rest is best 😊😊
You accomplished a lot in this episode, Anna! The shelves. the cabinets, the guerrilla gardening, the track saw, the cycling, the lasagne (we want the recipe, by the way!)... Truly awesome! (And the poem and drawing from your friend were the cherry on top of the cake, really).
Thank you 🙏 The recipe is all in my head but something like this: make a delicious veggie mince sauce with beluga lentils + regular bechamel sauce + add wild stuff if there is any edible ones where you live. Sometimes I add layers of spinach. And then a tasty cheese to top it off. Dinner for daaays! ✨
Vernalized-when seeds need winter cold or to be put in the fridge to germinate. I am so inspired by your videos. I have been remodeling old properties for years in the UK. Now I am in the US I have started all over again! The cabinets under the slope have inspired me to do the same in my sloped bland upstairs space❤
Anna, great job on the divider and the cabinets. It was a smart idea to rent a saw and guide. Here in the US they’re pricey so renting was a good idea. Thanks for taking us on a ride to the recycling center. Love your inventiveness!
The shelving looks great. Good job. The view, and the sounds of the water that you get to enjoy from your house is so peaceful. You are living the life.
I liked the different things you did in this video; planting, harvesting, cooking, teaching, recycling, taking out the invasive plant (I didn’t catch the name of that poisonous invasive plant). Your loft bedroom space is looking amazing! From a dirty old, dusty place to a beautiful sleeping area! And the clothing storage is brilliant! The little triangular door on the end to access the space behind the hanging and stacked clothing is brilliant! You’ve really cleaned up the space from finding dead rat skeletons to a nicely furnished bedroom! I’ve seen about six of your videos now and, of course have subscribed! I’m learning a lot from you and getting lots of ideas! I’m in the states but thinking of moving to Europe. I get a real sense of Sweden from your posts. Thank you!
Anna I love it that you talk to yourself when you work. I can't help it either. Thank you so much for making this in English. Watching all these TH-cam videos make me wish I knew other languages.. so many neat people in this world!
This was a very interesting video! You are so creative-cutting the Ikea shelves to fit in the dormers; I wouldn’t have been able to do that! I had enough trouble putting IKEA cabinets together! They’re so big! I have the wardrobes. Maybe be a light-colored finish on the bare wood to give them a nice sheen-there are many finishing products out there that do not ’stain’ the wood but just protect it. Restore-a-Finish comes to mind. It’s not a plastic polyurethane but a product that soaks in and protects. I never used it but it’s supposed to protect wood. It was a little expensive so I tried Watco Rejuvenating Oil ; it’s one I use. It was right next to the Restore-a-Finish but much less expensive.
Anna, I really enjoyed watching your video, the fact that you could make those shelves and the cupboards, they 26:30 fit beautifully is amazing! ❤❤Judy❤❤
The Ikea cabinet modifications/installation looks amazing - what a great way to use that space next to the floor and ceiling to create useful storage space!
I love ❤️ it you have done a fantastic job with those cabinets from someone that started with no knowledge you are tearing it up girl God’s blessings. 🙏❤️🙏 🤗hugs Maggie.
The flower top you were moving the seeds from is a poppy, they are so cool. They are like salt shakers, just hold upside down and shake the seeds out. You are brave and talented!
Great work! For the pieces you cut to cover the gap between the ceiling and the cupboards, I think you can just put a small wood board behind and between each two. This will mimic the space that exists between the doors anyway, and it will give a good continuity of the vertical gaps. Hope I manage to explain what I meant :) Can't wait for the spring to arrive and see how the outside will blossom and flourish. It was always a dream of mine for a small house next to a river or a stream. You have an amazing location and view. Cheers and enjoy it!
Yes I see what you mean, that is a great idea! Now I have started to put books and stuff on top and it is a quite nice to have a little landing area to put things down on, but it would be more clean with a cladding. We'll see 🙂 Also very much looking forward to spring 🌱
Hello Anna, greetings from Australia. It's nice to see your great progress; looks really good. I saw you carry clothes for storage including coat hangers. This reminded me of a video about a new design of hanger that will fit in narrow cupboards, and I thought that it may suit your needs. The YT video is called: "Why I spent 3 years working on a coat hanger". I hope this helps 🙂
Terrific result with your attic storage - not easy working on the floor. All the big TH-camrs work in fancy workshops with custom work benches. Well done.
You do excellent work. The new shelves and closet look great. Could the top be used as a book shelf? Are you going to encase the black pipe in wood? It will be fun to add a couple of chairs and a mirror to the space! Can't wait to see what you do for the room to be cozy! I know it will be nice!!
How beautiful are those cabinets! Perhaps a mirror on the wall opposite the window will reflect light and give the impression of a larger space. Your room looks fabulous. Thanks for sharing.
Hi, Anna. The shelves look great! I love what you’re doing on municipal land. I’m glad that you are aware of invasive species in the area and that you are digging them out. Invasive botanical species that you dig up should be put in the trash… do not compost them😊
Great effort with the attic, the cupboards look great! Borrowing the saw was well worth it. You have some beautiful natural lighting with the shots through the woods. A beautifully shot video.❤
Looks incredible, great job! You might benefit from a Japanese hand saw for those finishing touches, it's much finer and smoother than your regular saw ;-)
Looks really great. Can you do recipes eg. the neetle lasagne, or healthy food from garden and foraging at some stage, I’d love some inspiration, can be a bit lazy to cook for myself and can eat really badly.
You need to quickly boil nettles once before you cook with them. Then you just use them as a tastier version of spinach. You only eat spring nettles. Wear gloves while picking them!
I can be quite lazy too, but try to eat fairly healthy. Maybe I'll sneak in a little tip on how I try to make my lazy lunches a bit more healthy in a future video or something 🙂
It all looks great!! Very well done and quite beautiful!!! I agree with leaving the shelves in the wood finish and then paint later if you aren't happy with them. Have you considered painting the black pipe the same color as the walls so it kind of disappears?? Thats if it's okay to paint it...
Thank you 🙏 That might be an idea with the pipe, I've just been thinking that I like it being a little rough and industrial but white could also look good.
Hi Anna . If i understand right you were looking for you land markings. i can tip you on that on the municipallety house there should bee floders about how to find and what the markings can look like depending on how old they are . And its much easyer to find them if you new what you looking for.. Ask for a copy its for free what i know. . Thank you for fun videos, im very impressed of your work. MVH.KJ.
It would be great if you could borrow a drone and give us a look of your property from the air. I sometimes have trouble figuring out the layout of space just from snippets of pictures. You wouldn’t have to get too far away because I would assume you don’t want us to recognize exactly where you are, but I just I think the property is long and narrowriver runs one road on the other but I’m not really sure and I know you have outbuildings, etc. but I would love a visual if you would be so kind.
I have two wardrobes to build, and I find you inspiring. I have the same cupboards you used, but in black in my laundry. It's one of the few things still made in timber from Ikea. Have you considered building more sturdy stairs, or will you keep the ladder?
Perhaps if more people would be kind and clean up( clear of invasive plants and rubbish) near waterways then the cities would be grateful and the land would too, so brava to you for making your part lovely may it encourage others. When I hike in Nevada ( and Montana, NC and Virginia) there are usually pictures of invasive plants near paths so if you see any you can help by removing.
I depends on the brand, but I used about 5 dl of soap for 10 liters of water with Herdins soap 😊 They have great instructions on their website: herdinsfargverk.se/inspiration/gor-ett-klassiskt-skurgolv/
What is the invasive, poisonous plant you destroyed? Do you know where it is indigenous? We have so many invasive plants (insects, animals) in the U.S. I do not have much experience, but I found new growth plants rooted better.
Another vote for the wood finish on the shelf 😁. Love watching your progress, thanks for sharing.
The attic is lovely, you’ve done such beautiful work on it.
Anna, you are amazing at what you do. You have such patience! I enjoy watching your videos.
What a lovely poem and drawing from your friend ❤️

That large rusty bike would be a fun element in your yard made into a gate or part of a fence, or a trellis, etc. it tells a story.
And again loving it all. A very nice room with all your enjoyable activities ❤🎉😊💯🤗💝💫🥰🎄🙆♀️
Needly done you deserve to be super proud of yourself for fixing up this house and room by yourself❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Your cabinets are spectacular! I love that you built a base for them. They look so good.
Calm and pleasant Friday evening with your video. Thank you, Anna 🙂

Haha, det kändes lite roligt att köra runt med den måste jag erkänna 😅
Love the wood finish ❤. It really warms it up. I hope you decide to leave it!
Love your videos!! And the new soundtrack is amazing! Congratulations for your projects!
You really are an all round great person,I love that you care for the environment.
J’adore suivre vos travaux.
J’attends vos vidéos.
Superbe travail.
Avec le beau temps qui va arriver vous pourrez vous changer les idées en jardinant.
Amazing clean up of the bank snide. So much trash buried there.

I am awed by your talent, quick learning curve, and how you keep on even after a full day’s work. You are one terrific woman.
great job i am proud of you girl. Nice warming hello form USA
Great Job. 👏👏👏Looks lovely.
No more need to roam; you have found your way home!
Well said! 🕊️

Very goud Job, Anna! 👍🏽i’m also watching Wild Rosie. You are both very good! Kind regards from South America - Surinam Paramaribo.
Yeah you should enjoy now in that cozy, tidy place you created and get rest a bit! It's lovely 👌😘

Another great video.

What a beautiful gift from your friends. Love the storage shelves.
Bonsoir, très bonne idée vos placards
Looking good! ❤🏴🇨🇦
Yeah, a new video … nice ❤
Wow. What a wonderful use of the attic space--it looks so light an open now and yet has great storage. Nice work.
How beautiful are those cabinets! Perhaps a mirror on the wall opposite the window will reflect light and give the impression of a larger space. Your room looks fabulous. Thanks for sharing.
F-n va duktig du är ❣️❣️❣️

wonderful accomplishments.
Instead of painting the shelves, you can stain, or oil them...
I would oil them myself......
Hej Anna, Jag blir så glad att se utvecklingen av dit jobb samt dit sätt att ta itu med saker och ting. Glada hälsningar från Santiago, Chile.

Wow, it ended up such a huge, useable space up there. Its so restful looking & beautiful 😍
Looks great!
I love the cabinets! Just yesterday got my first ivar cabinet :) you go girl 💪🏻
Amazing 🤩 job
Another really nice video. I wonder if you have considered a Velux window in the room?
Thank you 🙏 I would love to have a window in the roof, maybe in the future ✨

Looks great, you deserve a break!
You are very talented at your creations, love the look of your attic nice and cosy ❤🇬🇧
What kind of saw? Have you thought of putting the bed under the window? Love watching you.
Thank you 🙏 If you mean the saw I rented it was a track saw from Festool.
Anna you can get the diy queen reward for 2024🎉🎉🎉
great job i have been watching most of your shows and do enjoy them so much.
Awesome job in the attic!!
😊 great job Anna 😊
Great to hear about this app. Such a cool idea.
I think you are amazing 🤩
beautiful poem......
Ivar is the best guy ever.
So impressive! It looks beautiful!
Would love to see a house tour
well done
If you drill put a piece of ‘sacrificial’ wood behind it. You won’t have the 14:34 thing.
Great tip, thank you 🙌
Good, very functional😊
Can i suggest felt squares on the inside of the doors so closing can be done quietly
Looks great!
It all looks great!! Very well done and quite beautiful!!! I agree with leaving the shelves in the wood finish and then paint later if you aren't happy with them. Have you considered painting the black pipe the same color as the walls so it kind of disappears?? Thats if it's okay to paint it...

Good Job Anna! It looks lovely. Have you thought about making a Q+A?
Thank you 🙏 I know a lot of other people do Q&A's, maybe that could be fun. Do you have any questions in particular? 🙂
Well, What is your regular job?, What is difficult to find your house? How big is your garden? Etc. @@annasgmlindgren
I would ask in the community, for questions? Then people can leave you some Q, Good Luck,
It would be great if you could borrow a drone and give us a look of your property from the air. I sometimes have trouble figuring out the layout of space just from snippets of pictures. I think I will keep the ladder, stairs would be nice but would take up so much space 🙂 Thanks for watching my videos!
Anna Lindgren - Guerilla Gardener! It has a nice ring to it! 😂
Perhaps if more people would be kind and clean up( clear of invasive plants and rubbish) near waterways then the cities would be grateful and the land would too, so brava to you for making your part lovely may it encourage others. Cool with the signage, that would be great to have everywhere 🙌
Are you going to frame the black pipe in the attic.?
Where does your land end in reference to the creek?
It ends in the slope down, but not sure exactly where 🙂
Hallo again, I’m curious about the linseed soap mixture you use on the floors, what is the recipe? Thanks, Corrianne
I depends on the brand, but I used about 5 dl of soap for 10 liters of water with Herdins soap 😊 They have great instructions on their website: herdinsfargverk.se/inspiration/gor-ett-klassiskt-skurgolv/

It is a giant hogweed, nut sure where it belongs originally.. But here it spreads like crazy!
Couple of things… re Spotify… Celia Blomdahl had a similar issue so ask her for help.
Did you ever find the rat?
Thanks for the recommendatio! And no, I never caught or saw any rat unfortunately 😅
:)
