Mini Fairy Desertscape Cactus Planter! Blue Torch Cactus! San Pedro Cactus?

Tossed together a quick and easy cactus arrangement using some stones and driftwood to naturalize the mix into a natural looking desertscape. Only a few cactus and succulents were used here...

golden ball cactus ( notocactus )
blue torch cactus ( pilosocereus azureus )
Haworthia and a san pedro cactus are suspected to be the i.d's of the other two cactus and succulents used.

I recognize that bowl from Home Depot, lol. This came out great! I love the little flower at the top of the cactus.

What about the old " False Bottom" w an inch or 2 of gravel or stones?? ... I hear this quite often for terrariums, dishgarden s etc. . Whether its succulents, desert Cactus or green plants.

I would LOVE to know how you did your bubble?!? Also I have an indoor collection of some of the same plants just not as many... yet!
Oh it's a long story to explain on here, maybe I'll do a video on it when the time comes to break it down. Basically I put styrofoam on the concrete, and hung multiple layers of plastic from the ceiling... It's more complicated then that, lol, but that's the basics of it.

Those golden ball cacti look exactly like golden barrel cactus in miniaturized form! The other plants also look like smaller versions of agaves and saguaros.

🌵Cute cactus! You say you are going to remove the paper flower? That looks so real isn't it growing out of the top of the cactus plant?
Nope, those are dried strawflowers that are hot glued to the cactus. They can damage the plants so I prefer to remove them.
@@TropicalPlantParty That is so funny lol, I was just looking at catus at Walmart and I seen many different kinds that had flowers growing from the top or so I thought, are they all like the dried flowers? That's tricky.

Does the bowl have drainage holes?
I don't remember, this is an old video, but I usually suggest drainage holes unless the person is an experienced gardener, it's always easier with drainage.
That's not a san pedro/ trichocereus pachnoi, I have oodles of it both standard and crestata forms. Cool cacti none the less.
