Correct me if I'm wrong, but what i understand of Cohan's arguments is that if a person has a property (any privately owned asset), others should be entitled to use it as long as they do not hinder the use of the property by the owner, But in the real world, how do you ensure that the usage of the property by one person does not hinder the owners'. And also, what is to be done by person A (owner of the property) in case person B (borrower of the property) damages the property during usage? And one last thing that I'd like you to shed light upon is that, is this entitlement to use others' property applicable on all sorts of assets or is it limited to predefined categories/classes of property? And if so, how do we distinguish between distributable and non-distributable properties? (Because to be honest with you, I wouldn't be comfortable sharing my clothes, especially undergarments, with others on a daily basis🙃) .If you could kindly elaborate on these points, it would be of great help to me!

1. You have misunderstood Cohen’s argument. You are still thinking in terms of ownership. Cohen is talking about socialised property. No one owns it. It is used collectively. He argues that the realm of freedom is actually expanded in such an instance. And this proves the liberal assumption that freedom can only be extended by honouring private property to be entirely incorrect.
2. The mechanism by misuse of collective property would be redressed would obviously depend on the collective but one can assume that the individual that misuses it, has to pay for the damage.
3. Cohen is mainly interested in the commanding heights of the economy. He’s not interested in socialising your tooth brush. He is talking about finance, land, heavy industry, transport, communication etc.

Cohen mostly did just criticize the other systems. What will the marxist system look like and solve the issues that is not abvious after watching ur videos. And one hears often that yes capitalism is not an ideal system but it works better than other systems. Communism eventually failed Russia, look at the situation of freedoms in China. Communism feels like utopian thinking. Not practical. In any case i hope u will give solutions using cohen or other newer methods to create a just and equal system. And what about islam ? people in pakistan think islam will solve the system.Ignoring human condition has changed. What will applicaiton of islamic principles of chartiy result in if implemeted now and its criticism ?
