Brandy is strategic with her placement of her runs and she does her belts only at the climax of her songs in a begging and pleading type of way to further convey the emotion that she wants her listeners to feel. She doesn't just run all over the place and start screaming and squalling at the top of her lungs just because its time to get loud. Another thing, Brandy does everything possible to a song that she records that it is impossible for a singer to "make it their own." It's best to learn her songs the way she sang them and try your best to sing it the way she did.
