i didn't notice the bacon honestly just because we didn't eat breakfast food. and i agree with the soft beverages, its suuuper normal here though, we have just got used to it.

I've also always wondered whether that brunch is worth the price, but I'll say the food and setup look amazing. I'm not a fan of sushi though. I tried it once in Seattle and hated it. Maybe it was just a bad day at that restaurant. I'm yet to get the courage to try it again

Even for USA thats expensive. You can get sushi, lobster for way much cheaper and may be for half the price. I would say its not worth it. My honest opinion. The place takes advantage of tourists who can not get lobster and sushi anywhere else. As for the locals it appears you just want to be seen. You can actually go to the coast on a boat ride and those beach boys will cook for you one of the freshest just caught lobster and shrimp cooked over a grill for a fraction of what hemmingways costs. You will pay less than $60 for two including the boat ride and the ambience you can not beat the blue ocean while sailing on a boat and eating your seafood. Other than that i saw basic food like sausages, waffles common breakfast foods.
It is expensive for sure but its not a "tourist trap". Most people who told us about this Brunch and also most people there were locals. You gotta keep in mind that on top of the lobster, sushi, cheeses and all the rest there is some bottomless Prosecco and its not the cheap stuff. And finally you are at Hemingways which is a very nice hotel so just that adds to the price as well. We are bot gonna go there often but we enjoyed it :)
@@DaveMani Ok point well taken. I guess it boils down to individual tastes. Sushi is a food one has to acquire a taste for. if you are used to raw seafood which most Kenyans i dont think will partake because they believe all food should be cooked including vegees besides Kachumbari. I can assure you if they had that same dishes side by side with chapati, roasted goat, matumbo (tripe), tilapia, ugali, sukuma wiki, pilau, kachumbari guess which wins hands down amongst Kenyans even in the most prestigious hotel. I have eaten sushi and like i said its a food one has to acquire a taste for. But never the less thanks for your efforts in showcasing a dish not very common amongst the locals but for those sushi fans. Dont take me wrong its not a criticism but just an observation. To each his own. Stay blessed.

where we aren't doctors we don't feel comfortable making a full video on it. there are different ones recommended but the one required to enter the country is the yellow fever vaccine
