After going out for the perfect waffle breakfast at a cute little café called Diplomata and a quick visit at the Clérigos Tower to enjoy some beautiful views, we went back to our Airbnb to meet up with my parents who came to meet us all the way from Canada.
Our first stop was the world famous Livraria Lello also know as Lello bookstore. This place is known to be one of J.K. Rowling's inspiration for Harry Potter, which is pretty cool. Make sure to buy your ticket in advance and keep in mind that if you buy a book from them, you can use the price of the entry as a voucher.
Then it was time to was around Old Porto before heading to an unexpectedly amazing sunset cruise with the best crew ever! Some porto, pastel de nata, great company and stunning views of the city, this was hard to be. Seeing Porto from the water, is a must! We highly suggest Boating Port.
Finally, we ended the day with an amazing Portugese meal away from the tourist areas at Taberna do Cais das Pedras. A pure delight.

The reason i love watching the Europe videos its to admire their architecture. It is so beautiful and very well maintained. And by the way, im glad to hear the Portuguese people sneaking English to the tourists. Which is not the case in France. They would purposely speak French to you even though they can understand English very well. Anyway different people, different culture. Thank you for taking us with you to Portugal.❤
To be honest, for me it has been the same for both Portugal and France. Lots of english in the big cities and none outside.

JK Rowling confirmed on twitter that Livraria Lello has no relation with Harry Potter as she was never there but she still had some time living in Porto and some other thing were probably inspiring for her when she wrote it

That is a big sacrilege first Port wine with a "bolinho de bcalhau" and second "bolinho de bacalhau" com queijo??? Com bolos de bacalhau ou rissois drink "vinho verde"! Port wine you drink it alone as an aperetif or digestif or in the company of a sweet desert!
