well, when described like that, i can understand the appeal as a satire of the genre, heck, it almost sounds like what doki doki literature club was going for just in a different direction. But that premise wont make me a fan of the show, especially since it really lacks the player agency. It isnt the player getting in over their head and laughing their a** off at how far off the rails the train-wreck goes, it is just watching a group of clinically insane teenagers deny reality with every trope of the premise of "insane teenager". 6:28 There's no way he thinks that pic looks like that cause it's blurred💀
Its like no experiences are truly universal. I know plenty millenials identifying with this sadly. Cope fiction isn't meant for everyone; if you don't have the trauma to cope from it probably wasn't for you? Part of media consumption is responsibility as the consumer to choose what media you take in. People sure forgot autonomy in recent years...
Yea that’s dam true, idky people make something seem incorrect/inaccurate if it doesn’t align with their own specific experiences/perceptions
Autonomy is just for the robots now, lol.
It's finally happening, I'm getting too old for this shit.
Glad I'm not the only one. I'm 26 man, and at this point I can't enjoy things like this 😂

well. young me finds this as cringe as grown up me. but yeah. enuf internet for today
@wahtari03765 That's sad
@@Nolongeruploading2024 But this is describing how things were in the late 2000s/early 2010s, not how things are currently, of course it's a bit over the top but for the most part this is exactly how people were back then (I was class of 13)
"I'm Nicole by the way, hi
WHAT THE FUCK DID I DO TO HIM?!"
Has gotta be the funniest shit I swear. That shit really got me lmfao
Nux was so surprised he dropped his fidget spinner 😂
YESSSSS. I WANT THIS ANIMEEEEEEEEE
I thought it was a parody dub at first, but then the dialogue just kept matching the visuals.
I'm guessing they're going for a similar vibe to the Ghost Stories dub.
The series originated with a few visual novel style games, which are also unhinged and hilarious. You should check them out (I hear Flipside kind of flopped, but the other two are pretty good)
This honestly feels like the ghost stories dub
@@NineHundredDollarydoos You never played the games did you?

His ashes can't consent... Game is game
Yea Nux, going through the game, it’s sequels, and thinking about its themes and messages, made me wonder some things about its creation and creator, and well…..
If you ever listen to his interview with Kirsche, you’ll definitely…… understand this in a lot more clarity lol
He’s legitimately like a male version of Nicole
3:46 literally the exact opposite, and when the les tiktok gen z girls found it the creator crashed out and made the last game shitty to get back at them
"All went according to plan..."
@@TheMockingjay74 funnily enough it didn't even go well for him, he ran defense on the last game for a few months banning and blocking people but I still see more fake/tiktok fans than any other type of fan (reddit is probably the worst for it)
but Max/SBN3 will always have my respect for going out of his way to do that, and have my respect since I'm slightly obsessed with the series and he made it.
nux you gotta play the first two games or watch playthroughs of them. i really wanna see your analysis of them.

0:25 It's like the school days choose your own adventure, but less depressing overall.
This is actually pretty damn accurate. I was in HS from 09-13 and the girls were definitely like this lol.
I'm honestly surprised it took this long for a Class of '09 video.
First the re-up and now this: Nicole and Jecka tag-team in their mistreatment of Ari. 😭
When you realize Ari is just as fucked up...
Nux: "Corpses can't consent!"
Me: "Well, they certainly don't object." 🤷♂️
36:33 Aw, there go my plans for the weekend...!
So this is practically american cartoon but made with anime characters.
omg the teacher announcing the F to the entire class lmao reminds me of this one professor that bullied people from week 1 to finals
I'm from germany and was in our version of highschool in 09. I was 16 at the time and if you switch out the drugs with alcohol (legal drinking age is 16 but let's be real 80% have their first drink around 14...) - It is basically how most people acted (less exaggerated ofc).
You could say that edgyness was the wokeness of that era. It was great!🤣
I was class 08 and this was absolutely the vibe that was being built up to for 09.
I felt like I'm watching an abridged series bro
Gentlemen and Female gentlemen … my audience recommend it to me.
The audience knows what’s best for Nux.
Nah. Whoever told him to react to this BEFORE the game. Shame on you. The game is better by leagues.
3:38 True. The whole game is pretty much targeted towards lesbian teenagers.
I say it’s more making fun of them rather than targeting towards them
It’s funny because the creator is a notoriously bad person who literally hates that part of the fandom and made the last game a shit show to disappoint his own fanbase 💀

7:13 as someone who went to highschool in america, this is painfully accurate
As a high school senior, this is nothing like what's happening right now-from my normal person perspective!
It was different back in the day, granted I graduated in 2016, but I had friends who graduated around '09, also I was alive back then and I knew the kind of humor around back then, it was like that back in the day humor wise at least.
@@Yuki_Ika7 I know it was like that back in the day. It's just so alien compared to how it is now. You know right!

I was a young teenager at the time and I didn't experience anything even remotely like this, the people saying this is 100% the highschool experience everyone had at the time seem to not wanna admit they just had a shitty teenage experience, I'm sure this experience isnt uncommon but it's definitely not "100% accurate to how it was" for everyone
I actually did graduate in '09, and my friends and I basically did speak like this.
I enjoyed that far more than maybe I should have, perhaps

6:29 Nux you got it all wrong, this couldn’t have been targeted at Lesbians, none of the girls were ugly. 🎯
5:50 bro wtf am i hearing 💀 (i was tabbed out)
I... am confused... as someone who graduated in 09, i feel like I had a very different experience from others...
same here (Albiet a bit younger) I think the people shrieking how accurate this is has to be more of a vocal minority because neither me nor any of my friends had these drug problems and such, it seems more like the people saying these games are accurate only hung out with the bad crowds and assume it's the highschool experience everyone has had
I bought these games and thought it was pretty hilarious (minus the terrible UI problems). But yeah, basically my highschool experience 🤷♂️😬
It's so over the top edgy that it somehow circles around to being kinda entertaining.
And the game's are even more fucked up
True, the game actually reminds me of my own high school experiences at some points though obviously nowhere near as absurd.
This was like listening to ear cancer in real time. 😂
As class of '09, my fav part of this is laughing in nostalgia at damn near every line, nux questioning it, and me laughing harder!
Pfft, Nux trying to paint this as "problematic" when 12:45
Note: Of course he stopped bothering by that point.
24:19 In mid transition to another scene, for no reason at all. Just non stop edge bruh! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Finally some more Jaiden Animations.
I’m glad I’m not terminally online enough to know anything about this IP. I had no clue what this was or why people were talking about it. And after learning, I wish I didn’t. I’m glad I was a kid back in ‘09 cause it sounds like being a teen sucked.
