This side of Kinger showed in the previous episode. He was wearing a bucket on his head, meaning it was dark, so he was able to be lucid enough to remember something he normally wouldn't and gave good advice. That went away as soon as he lifted the bucket high enough to expose one of his eyes to the light.
In episode 2, during Koufmo funeral, Kinger was all the time with his eyes closed while he talked about memories with him. He was trying to keep himself in "darkness" to remember better.
23:29 the reason Cain doesnt remember whats wrong with Zooble is probably because they kept saying "forget it", so Cain will forget what progress they had made during the therapy session.

''Seven years of computer science" Remembering your past life in a lucid state, this just reinforces the idea that everyone who's got transported to the Circus are probably all developers who designed it. Also, damn that Kinger moment plucked at my heartstrings
I personally think Kinger and his wife developed it, but the others were trapped there after. Since if they were all developers, wouldn't they have all gone in together? Why would there be time for dozens of people to abstract, including Kaufmo going nuts before Pomni arrived, if she was part of the development team?
He probably cerated the circus with his wife. ....... i think that origianlly the sun and moon were their avatars. but soemthign happened and they ended up stuck in the circus. Question remains why, and if the sun and mono were theri avatars then it also means they could leave it.
Reminder: the ONLY thing that the characters forgot was their names, other than that they remember EVERYTHING else, this was said by Gooseworks, the creator of the show
Pomni is also the only one who really remembers the sentient NPCs from last episode. And now she is the one to remember a sane Kingler. Maybe that's her thing, that she will remember things others won't, which keeps these things valued. Also Kingler saying the worst thing you can do is make someone feel unwanted or unloved is pretty heavy.
Fun fact: There will be no season 2. Once this season is over it's over, at least according to creators. And the reason being, to preserve creative vision. And i dig it. I love when writers get to end the shows on their terms, instead of prolonging them to infinity because producers said so.
I like that a lot! That'll probably means that everything will come to some sort of resolution by the end of this, without leaving too many loose ends.
I love how every episode foreshadows how they solve the main problem in the first few minutes. I think Jax's eyes light up when he hold his breathe like an old cartoon character.
If you believe the "Jax is an NPC" theory then it could be that while he can mimic breathing (he does things like sigh, or catch his breath after running from Kaufmo) he can't actually breath, and thus can't actually hold his breath. He refuses to show them because nothing would happen, and it would give away a sign that he's fundamentally different from them. Though if he's not an NPC I'm guessing his ears curl up.
Darkened room: "I'm starting to think." Total darkness: "I think we should..." Monster light: _completely numb and dumb._ Turns away from the light: _back to his senses._ Right from the start, the darkness is unlocking his mind until he's actually himself again. Light makes him stupid. I hope Pomni thinks about it later and arranges for something to help Kinger that's better than a pillow fort.
He can’t even hold his breath and keep thinking. He glows when he does, removing the darkness he cherishes and clings onto. To anyone else it would be useful, but not kinger
I think it's more that Gooseworx is and has always been a horror-oriented artist for pretty much her entire career. That might have something to do with it.
"It's my fault we went down this path, isn't it?" 1000 bucks says Kinger wasn't talking about dragging Pomni into the scary door at the start of the episode. Also, go rewatch Zooble's therapy scene: Every time Caine does some thing non-sequitur or ignores what they tell him, it's immediately after Zooble says 'forget it' or 'never mind'. Caine is an AI: He's just following their orders and forgetting what they tell him when he's told to.
The question to ask is whether he follows everybody's orders like this or just when Zooble says it. If it's just Zooble then that would have some pretty big lore implications
26:35 "my wife and theoreticall children", that's the way to say that he shot his wife while she was pregnant. Probably the first mini ghost that Jax sucked out (pause) was the spirit of the fetus who did not even got acces to the demo of life. Props for the husband tho. He got a double kill and a spawncamp kill at the same time, while also doing friendly fire. He really was a good hunter.
Sarcastic Chorus made a video about this episode and his theory is that Cane is literally just an AI within a videogame/computer whose sole purpose is to design levels and quests for the players. He is NOT equipped to deal with actual people and the needs and complexity that comes with the territory. Which is why he forgets what a Zooble us telling him. It's outside of his code. It'd be like someone talking to you in a language you never heard. You're not going to get it and you're going to get distracted if it's a long speech.
Yeah, i do think that all that Cane think why Zooble dont like to do any of his adventure is becuase Zooble want a different game and Cane going to create all sort kind of theme until he find the right one that please Zooble....
@@syabilaazri7834 SC also said in his vid that Cane is a bit of a hack when it comes to stories and an insecure writer. You, know kinda like a lot of modern hollywood/mainstream writers who are so scared of their story being 'predictable' and thus 'bad and boring' that they do it at the expense of the story and characters being fun to follow and making sense/having an organic, natural progression. They take the 'subvert the expectation' to such levels that it becomes stupid and instead of being awed the audience is left underwhelmed and frustrated...and even bored. Because if you can't follow the story whatsoever your brain is going to switch off and not pay any attention whatsoever. Like, let's use chekov's gun as an example. A writer who wants to be "clever" would show it and pay attention to it, but then there won't be any payoff. The gun won't show up again and no one will ever mention it. Faced with such a thing most people won't see it as subversion but rather as a plot hole.
is that not just. actually confirmed info? we know cain is AI, and we know he's not evil and just trying to help despite not knowing how. wasnt it like. outright stated by the writer somewhere??
@@micahflanders6789 ah, I see I didn't know that and saw quite a few comments talking about the whole 'it's actually hell' theories and that characters HAVE to participate or they'll get dragged to hell if they won't so this is why Cane is so keen on them particpating.
Its weird when you have to keep in mind, that the entire adventure was designed for Zooble. If their limbs straighten out it would be hard for them to escape hell. Zooble probably won't have time to cross over before getting possessed. (Cain can't do anything about their minds but can build something that can possess them.) Though the whole thing could be a warning from Cain to Zooble, that if they keeps missing out Zooble could extract become a monster and Cain would be forced to drag them down to hell.
Yeah, but remember that the doors were changed. If Caine's plan was correct, Zooble would've gone for the pleasant door and had a good time. If the switch was intentional, Cain was trying to give Zooble an easy time to ease them back into the adventures.

You brought up a good point that Caine may put them in the cellar to keep them in darkness and therefore keep them calm. Interesting thought and could be true. Nice theories
Yes, loved that idea. I still think he maybe puts them there, because he can't fix the issue, he needs a real person to come fix the issue since the people who abstruct seem to do so when great emotional stress, something Caine has no idea about.
Arcane season 2 is around the corner, I've been @-ing nux to react to this guy named necrit, he's the best league of legends lore master there is. Specifically, I've been begging nux to react to necrit riot mmo videos, since they're very condensed but interesting for the lore of the planet, the regions, the potential classes, the potential boss plot.
OMG I JUST REALIZED THIS. In episode 2, towards the end when they are riding back to the Candy Kingdom, and when Kinger and Ragatha are talking, Kinger mentions how he remembers how Ragatha was like when she first entered the circus. And this happens WHEN KINGERS HEAD IS COVERED BY A BUCKET!!! And he then forgets immediately when the bucket tips off of his head. So this proves that he can remember things while in the dark. AMAZING DETAIL 🙏
Cane makes adventures so they dont go insane, but also making adventures is what keeps im from going insane because he's probably in the same boat as them.
During the therapy session with zooble, I think that the reason Cain forgets about what they say is because Cain as an AI takes everything literally and zooble constantly says forget it so he does.
The scary door was definitely designed for Jax and Zooble since Cain thought Zooble wanted something more mature. And Jax would totally try killing the monster the first chance he got sending them both to hell. Which would force Jax to actually help Zooble to escape since their body straightens out making it hard to walk.
Caine mentioning that his only purpose in life is to make the adventures (and also seemingly being unable to comprehend the possibility that someone else's psychological issues could be unrelated to the adventures) brings to mind the old riddle about the robot programmed to make toys that failed to construct a SINGLE toy when presented with a closed box full of parts, simply because it had ONLY been programmed to put together toys and not to recognize and open boxes. As previously stated, Caine was never made to do anything but make adventures, and people's emotions and mental states are the equivalent of closed boxes that he has no idea how to open, and he's *just capable enough* at holding conversations that none of the humans seem to understand that he quite literally CAN'T understand, despite his best efforts.
Tbh I could totally Believe Zooble has Body Dysmorphia when compared to everyone else being somewhat humanoid, she looks like a disorganised jigsaw puzzle. It is no shocker that she hates her body.
30:43 Remember that it was intended that only zooble would go down this route, a single person. With that in mind Cain probably made the code something like "If angel is harmed: Take player in this area to next area"
I would say Caine clearly doesn't understand human psychology, doesn't understand the trauma he is causing or the needs of others. In fact it is evident that the abstracted individuals could potentially be helped with the right professional guidance, but Caine not understanding this and only seeing them as "glitching threats" removes them from the main area to the cellar area. Also as a side bar the fact Pomni could lose control of her body via a possession is very disturbing when you remember this is all virtual, so Caine has a program to over-ride the avatars and control them. Although he supposedly can't affect their minds...although some aspect of that world does *the loss of name and some memories*, so Caine may not even be the highest program in control of this virtual space only the adventure guide with Admin controls over the environment and player avatars. Which speaking of, Pomni and Kinger what they were saying to each other, we don't know the circumstances of why they put the head set on. Pomni might know more than she is letting on, heck first episode is was almost implied she about pulled a Digimon and went up and saw through the monitor. But they both clearly worked at C&A...what if Pomni was a debugger and the headset was just part of her workload to fix with notes on things needing patched, maybe a "delete Cain admin program"...her "of course he hates me" felt really personal...like she knows a reason he might (I doubt he does, he seems less advanced an AI than the one's he made last episode). "I knew it would end up like this, he just wants me to suffer, he hates me"...makes me want to rewatch episode 1...did Pomni KNOW what she was getting into and was pretending she didn't...or got confused by the system messing with memories, and its her job to figure out how to get everyone out, or debug the system from the inside. This line makes Pomni very suspicious. Also my theory, Jax is able to leave the Circus, that he's human (fully) and can come and go, he might not even believe the other "players" are real people. So theory is when he holds his breath that acts as the (emergency exit) for him. In fact remember episode 1...Jax was short of breath from running, he had to take a moment to catch his breath.
@@thelordofthelostbraincellsyou would think, but isn't it interesting that Kinger lit up and was draged to hell? Lucifer = light bring and king of hell.
I think Cain does not remember Zooble's problems, because Zooble tends to use the phrase "forget it" whenever they feel frustrated by Cain's aproach to helping them, Cain is an AI meant to fullfill his guests wishes so if Zooble orders him to "forget it" he will forget whatever Zooble is referring to, he dosnt get that it is simply a saying and not an order. Thus Zooble unknowingly stops Cain from making any real progress towards actually helping them (though Cain probably couldnt even truely help Zooble as he fundamentally can not understand the human struggles of his guests).
I feel like every episode is gonna be Pomni learning more about every individual member of the circus while they teach her something about how to survive the circus.
I think you have a point but there's going to be a point to where she has to teach all of this to Jax whose 'method' is to pretend like it's not a 'problem'. I think that's the point, notice, every time Jax is never really seen follow along, he forces things, but he never really 'goes along'. I think, despite a potential early 'Jax Episode', Jax will be the one in the end who needs the lessons. Perhaps to leave or because he'll be the only one left in that world where, at that point, none of the lessons WILL matter. And, likely, THEN he'll leave when he's forced to deal with nothing BUT fake people who do everything he believes, wants, and wills them to do. Likely, that's going to happen, maybe someone will come back to get him, and then we see him either dying in a hospital or maybe leaving someone's house as a slightly better person.
It’s not that Kane doesn’t care Zoobles body dysmorphia, it’s that he can’t understand it. To him he just thinks that he just needs to give them a lot of body parts and then the problem will be solved. You gotta remember that canes Cains only goal in this digital life is to entertain those in this digital world with adventures that he creates, anything else that doesn’t have to do with that he just can’t understand, he tries to help, but you can’t really help someone you can’t understand.
there could also be an extar stressor cause most of the peeps have abstarcted at this point. its possible caine was put in charge of the care of the people in the circus but again, is not built for that either. and now most of them are abstracted and he doesn't know hwo to help them.
5:59 actually got me thinking. Caine does have god-like abilities, he pretty much can do whatever the heck he wants when he wants. So why doesn't he just make Zooble go on the adventures?
He mentions in episode 1 that the only thing he can't control is the people's minds, he could probably puppet their bodies and make them go but what would the point in that be if they're completely unwilling to play along.
I assume it’s more of a participation thing. I mean despite his god-like nature he IS still at the end of the day, essentially a videogame AI. In every single game you, the player still have to actively make the decision to press start and play. So Zooble refusing to participate could just be representative of that.
They go into that in the episode. Despite Caine's abilities, he is very insecure about his capability as a chaperone, so by principle, he would opt for talking it through to get to the bottom of it. That, and I'm pretty sure he is insane or something. Given how little we actually know, and how much has been revealed, we can infer that there is a method to his madness. Once this is revealed, we can look back and truly understand how powerful and in control he really is, or if he was ever really powerful at all. For now, he seems in *complete control* and has hidden motives. I'm willing to bet some external force is influencing his behavior, but that's more of a hunch.
Cain's role seems pretty clear to me. While you could just force people to do stuff. It would defeat the hole point of adventures. Caine is clearly not evil, he just limtid in his understanding. He doesn't do stuff to hurt them, he just following a script. He can joke that he is a war criminal, but it's because he has no real idea what it is. I'm also thinking his adventures created from the memories of the people. Like his not good at making new stuff, he just takes what allredy is and alters it a bit
16:16 I just realized that there was a book shown in this specific scene titled "Angels", which was probably foreshadowing to what the creature was before they went into the cellar.

im pretty sure Gooseworx already said that all the human characters remember everything from their real lives except their names, their names are the only thing that's forgotten
A King & his Jester Goes to a Hunted Manor 👻 - First Kinger is one of my favorite characters which I love the lore from him learning about his wife Queenie (which Gooseworx confirmed to be her name) & this would explain that during Ep. 1 he keep mentioning a insect collection when he came out of his pillow fort & while down in the Glonk cave while in Ep. 2 when he had a bucket on his head when he reminded Ragatha first time at the circus - Baron Mildenhall is voiced by Tim Alexander - Martha Mildenhall is voiced by Marissa Lenti who also voices Gangle - Ghostly is voiced by WizardWiz - As for references to other media Jax uses a vacuum to capture ghost which has been used in many different series & the light from the head’s mouth has light which might be a reference to deathlights from Stephen King "IT"
one of funniest things this episode - caine mislabeled the doors. ghosty pointed to our left door, called it safe, but when jax threw a mask it ended up being the horrible one
No, it's clearly the door on the right that's the horrible one. Look at the scene where you see both doors while the scary one's open, you can see the safe door to its left.
It's because Caine tailored the adventure for Zooble. Caine assumed that a Resident Evil style horror game was what everyone else wanted, while the door with the mature ghost lady was what he thought Zooble would find scary and entertaining.
Look at jax in 43:36 his ears were like down, and remember in the beginning where he said "I want to keep the mystery alive" when they were holding their breaths.
Kinger's ark here is literally the porcelain doll in Beamland from Jim Henson's secret life of toys. I think lights being on vs. off even played a role in that too. And Pomni already resembles Ditz The Clown.
The fact that Jax at least has knowledge of Luigi's mansion via vacuuming ghosts implies knowledge of video games at least up to 2001. It could just be for the bit, but film theory might find this interesting.
32:58 Holy crap, that's a really nice detail! I'm not going to say what it is, but let's just say that it's more evidence that Kinger has, at least some, firearms experience.
OMG I hadn't noticed that but yes, that's someone who's used to properly handling a gun! You never assume it can't go off even if you KNOW it's empty. Furthermore, while Pomni just grabs the gun and hands it to Kinger, the first thing Kinger does is check the gun. That works because now for the narrative we know they have two shots, but I could totally imagine Jax just firing and assuming they have a huge amount of video game ammo available and then being upset when there's only two shots.
you know as the episodes come out I am becoming more and more convinced Jax is secretly a plant from whoever is really running the circus to observe everything and actually can leave whenever he wants
One thing to notice during the therapy session is every time Caine has a zany tangent it's right after Zooble said "Forget it" So it's likely he's just doing what he's told and instantly forgetting what they were just talking about. Thus also why he couldn't remember no matter how hard he was clearly trying at the start to their previous conversation(s) because they probably also said to forget it last time too.
I think that was just the inside of the monsters mouth since he was almost half way in there he might've just clipped it given he's turning around and they missed it in editing
The dark helps kinger remember his past and the circus is extremely bright with no dark spots and he lights up when suffocating, Zooble isn’t comfortable in her own body the circle is composed of different shapes and colors and nothing match’s and her limbs straighten out when she is suffocating, Does anyone else think The circus is a personalized hell for its “guests” and I guess trying to die or suffocate yourself to leave you get punished instead by having your fears or issues happen to you? Cause if that’s what happening we got like 3 sneak peeks into the other’s problems
The moment where Kinger glows as he leads Pomni through the corridor is my favourite moment so far. Absolutely beautiful. You put it perfectly: An angel walking you through hell.
Anyone else terrified by how quickly things fell apart the moment Caine started to doubt himself? Pomni also means "I will weep" in Russian. Zooble has gender dysphoria, calling it now.
@@Fectoelfilis27 actually to be fair this is probably an on going issue for him. my guess, caine was built to entertain, but was then given a task to watch over these peeps. and at this point the vast majority of the people under his care are abstracted with a tiny handful left.
Correction, Pomni (Помни) means "remember" in russian. As if asking/telling someone to remember something. Besides that, yeah. Kinda terrifying what happened when Caine started questioning himself, and the world went crazy for a moment. Wonder if this is gonna be a plot point later on 🤔
Biggest realization for me was that this is supposed to be the Halloween/Horror episode, yet it feels really good to watch. I don't think at all about the horror, only about how cool and tragic Kinger was.
It's so weird that Jax is the only character besides Caine to be subtly aware of the 4th wall. If he's supposed to be one of them, he shouldn't know that. Me thinks mr. deadpool over here may not be human.
caine deliberately portrays all this as a show after all. even with a title song to start every day, though it seems like he hasn't gotten around to changing the theme song yet.
So Nux thinks the Angel looks like Kinger's wife. It's eyes shape like Kinger. It glows when breathing, Kinger glows when not breathing More active in the dark, like Kinger? Demon in hell knows what happened to Kinger.
I know everyone thinks Jax is secretly the Npc, but i think its Ragatha because she just goes along with everything Caine says and is the only one ever excited to go on adventures
I’m still calling it that Zooble will be the next to abstract. I always knew it was their body that was the worst part of existing to them. Imagine not being able to even hold yourself at night because your body can’t even let you?
Even though Digital circus backstories, characters and lore setups may be simpler than Helluva Boss one's but I actually think it helps the show more to keep it's quality, all three episodes have been just growing in quality and this episode was a huge PEAK of setups, now we just need 1-3 episodes more to setup the rest of the cast and lore and we can see huge payoff episodes
In contrast to how back stories and lore setups worked within the first 3 episodes of Helluva Boss, I'd say they're about identical, actually. Both shows have interesting plots that tie the characters behaviors, and both shows had episodes that were deep dives into the characters lives and backgrounds. Digital Circus is definitely more existential and abstract, while Helluva Boss and Hazbin lean more towards traditional drama and comedy. Even if you consider the Digital Circus development simple, you have to give it to the crew that they have a lot of attention to detail when you go back and watch. Many of these details are lying underneath the abstract humor and logic. It makes sense for Digital Circus to seem simple when everything else is convoluted or overstimulating, but that said, Helluva Boss is privy to details too. They hide these details in the world building generally. Both are amazing examples of good writing, though. It's all insanely entertaining and captivating. It only makes sense that these shows and creators take their time to really flesh everything out. I'm a patient man, so long as these shows stay true to their vision.

Plus, Jax did say episode 1 that Kinger was there the longest.
He probably cerated the circus with his wife. ....... i think that origianlly the sun and moon were their avatars. but soemthign happened and they ended up stuck in the circus.
Question remains why, and if the sun and mono were theri avatars then it also means they could leave it.
@@taddad2641 Is that why Caine pushed Pomni out of the way the moon said anything?👀
That's why her name is Pomni.
She's a watcher/witness. She'll probably be the one at the very end left to remember it all

Fun fact: There will be no season 2. Once this season is over it's over, at least according to creators. And the reason being, to preserve creative vision. And i dig it. I love when writers get to end the shows on their terms, instead of prolonging them to infinity because producers said so.
I like that a lot! That'll probably means that everything will come to some sort of resolution by the end of this, without leaving too many loose ends.
knowing how to stop is as important as knowing where to start, otherwise apply the quote about hero living long enough
I just hope it's not like, 8 total episodes, it doesn't feel like enough time, maybe 12, that sounds like enough to get all that sweet sweet lore

@Oushino 9 what, eggs? Also yeah, I know that, but I didn't when I said that
I love how every episode foreshadows how they solve the main problem in the first few minutes. I think Jax's eyes light up when he hold his breathe like an old cartoon character.
I think his eyes start spinning sideways till it looks like they are entirely yellow because motion blur.
I think that his ears or neck stretch out
If you believe the "Jax is an NPC" theory then it could be that while he can mimic breathing (he does things like sigh, or catch his breath after running from Kaufmo) he can't actually breath, and thus can't actually hold his breath. He refuses to show them because nothing would happen, and it would give away a sign that he's fundamentally different from them.
Though if he's not an NPC I'm guessing his ears curl up.
assuming he's not an NPC (which I otherwise am), I think he gets shorter

I think Caine can't remember because Zooble keeps telling him to "forget about it..."
I've seen people say that because caine is an a.i, he takes things seriously. So when zooble tells caine to forget it, he literally just forgets it
"It's my fault we went down this path, isn't it?"
1000 bucks says Kinger wasn't talking about dragging Pomni into the scary door at the start of the episode.
39:08 7 years of computer science and hated bugs. Sounds like a programmer. I wanna know about their real lives so much more with each episode.

If the switch was intentional, Cain was trying to give Zooble an easy time to ease them back into the adventures.
i think caine just didn't think it through
@@rhazortrhazort3003 There wasn't a switch? The ghost pointed to the safe door then the scary door. With signs saying which one was which. Jax just threw Gangle's mask into the scary door because he thought it would be funny.

This epsode single-handedly made Kinger my fav character.

Specifically, I've been begging nux to react to necrit riot mmo videos, since they're very condensed but interesting for the lore of the planet, the regions, the potential classes, the potential boss plot.
MOOING PEE-BOTS!
Kinger is figuratively and literally Pomni's light in the darkness.
LITERALLY-
SHINE BRIGHT LIKE A DIAMOND
i think Jex does know. he keeps looking at the camera while talking in the previous episodes too
Jack being a AI seemed even more likely.
He never held his breath.
Maybe because he can't
He’s a wannabe dead pool! Jax is delulu if he think he can be like dead pool 😒/joking
I kinda find it cool that kinger turns into the thing he avoids the most when holding his breath - light.
Something that attracts bugs,
Which his wife loved 😢
Tbh I could totally Believe Zooble has Body Dysmorphia when compared to everyone else being somewhat humanoid, she looks like a disorganised jigsaw puzzle. It is no shocker that she hates her body.
anyone would if they were trapped in a digital body they probably did not make
30:43 Remember that it was intended that only zooble would go down this route, a single person.
If the circus is Hell, characters like Kinger and Ragatha must be guardian angels trying to save everyone.
Hell in some sources have Purgatory down there. Kinger is 100% in purgatory waiting to be sent down to Hell (the Cellar) to be with his wife again
Then jax is a demon and caine is the devil in charge.
But what would gangle be?
@@thelordofthelostbraincells jesus? Humanity as a whole?
@@thelordofthelostbraincellsyou would think, but isn't it interesting that Kinger lit up and was draged to hell?
Lucifer = light bring and king of hell.
the creator has already said this is basically IHNMAIMS, so they'd all just be sinners (the ones AM let live) and Caine the Devil (AM)
19:47 in spanish says: "sorry could you repeat that again? I don't speak Lovecraftian" 😂
His main goal is to maintain their sanity and he already failed several times. He probably tried that, and it made someone insane.

Good catches on all these!
one of funniest things this episode - caine mislabeled the doors. ghosty pointed to our left door, called it safe, but when jax threw a mask it ended up being the horrible one
I knew I wasn't going crazy.
Jax may be an agent of chaos, but he's not stupid.
No, it's clearly the door on the right that's the horrible one. Look at the scene where you see both doors while the scary one's open, you can see the safe door to its left.
No, there's a shot of Kinger jumping in that clearly shows the safe door on the left.
Anyone else notice how nux just explains the Basic premise of a Show like every Episode he watches. The dementia really be kicking.
I love how when Jax vacuumed Ghostly, he wasn’t smirking or being a troll. He seemed to genuinely think that he was supposed to do that
Kinger's ark here is literally the porcelain doll in Beamland from Jim Henson's secret life of toys. I think lights being on vs. off even played a role in that too. And Pomni already resembles Ditz The Clown.
13:01 i think it's because she keeps saying "ugh, forget it.", and him, beeing an A.I., takes it litterally and forgets about it.

I was waiting all weekend for you to analyze this one!
One thing to notice during the therapy session is every time Caine has a zany tangent it's right after Zooble said "Forget it" So it's likely he's just doing what he's told and instantly forgetting what they were just talking about. Thus also why he couldn't remember no matter how hard he was clearly trying at the start to their previous conversation(s) because they probably also said to forget it last time too.
kinger showed why he is a king
While Nux can drag on sometimes atleast he's more transformative then like 95% of other people.
I wonder if Pomni said "I hate this stupid adventure," at the same time that Zooble said that no one liked the adventures.
Kinger almost abstracts when he stares into the angel. A dark ring forms around his right eye and gets bigger until Pomni breaks him free. 20:35
I think that was just the inside of the monsters mouth since he was almost half way in there he might've just clipped it given he's turning around and they missed it in editing
@@spirittail4958 true, that's a possibility

all charming characters who are funny or crazy tend to have deeper meaning or some traumatic past
