What's that on the tip of the vertical tail fin? I did the same thing, but installed a 600 size tail fin to keep it above grass. Great for practicing auto's, because you won't usually hit your landing spot. Hard landing can easily cause tail shaft to bend. Keep on.
@@thercelementheliedition5716 Yes, I hope. I've seen in one of your videos on your other channel (deactivated comment sections) that you have a Blade 120SR. I got mine used and it's kinda weird: If I give it lots of throttle out of a hover, the heli turns left. If the battery is low and I give it full throttle, it ascends but it's slowly spinning in circles. I've got Tattu 600mah 30c and GNB 600mah 50c batteries for it. Does it with everyone of them. Internal resistance of all of my batteries is around 28mOhm. Bought them new, but who knows how 'new' they are. The GNBs I had to modify - had to remove the connector and solder a JST/BEC plug onto it, which matches the stock connector on the 120SR. My question is, is it normal for these that the turn left when you give it lots of throttle? As I said this seems to get worse as the battery weakens. I asked this question on other channels with 120SRs and they wouldn't answer, which is odd.
TN RC It’s been a long time since I flew the 120SR. I’m pretty sure that heli can’t handle hard punch outs. The tail can’t keep up. Those 120SR helis are only good for basic flight to help get down your orientations. The head speed just isn’t fast enough. The 230 should be able to handle those punch outs better, but still won’t be perfect.
@@thercelementheliedition5716 thank you for your answer. Yeah the tail struggles to keep up. Anyhow practicing with the 120sr is over because the tail motor gave up/behaves weird, cuts out, starts up with delay. This was the second one I bought used. After 1 hour of flight time (not at once) both gave up in me. Overheated tailmotor? Don't know. In mode 0 the 230s, where pitch seems to be somewhat linked to head speed, it also turns a bit at punchouts. It's as you wrote not perfect. One of the blade grips broke, so right now I am stuck with my RC cars :D

great video style but a bit more flying :D!!! Still got my 500 esp in a shelf and want to fly it this summer. Hope it goes well!
philip91153 Thanks buddy! Yeah, I bit more flight next time right lol. I still have this ESP as well. Classic!
I realize Im kind of off topic but do anybody know of a good site to watch newly released tv shows online?
@Carlos Bradley i use flixzone. You can find it on google :)
Awesome Heli bro.
Practicing with a Blade 120 SR and a 230S V2...
TN RC Nice! Good practice helis for sure!

Brings back memories with the flybar lol. I don't think it's worth the $700+ dollars they want for it now.
RC LIFT OFF! It’s going for that much? Wow!
@@thercelementheliedition5716 yeah, it's way to much now in my opinion. You're better off getting a 550 size.
