    How exactly does that happen ? how does it turn into stone when water is still around ?

    What's the difference between poorly sorted and unsorted?
    I thought both of them have the same meaning!!
    Please help me out!

      Sorting ranges between unsorted and well sorted. I would make make the analogy of shades of grey from charcoal to light grey.

      @@AidaAwad OMG!!I never thought tht someone of Ur calibre will reply me despite the fact that I asked u with an intention of getting an answer! Thnk you for clearing my doubt..I sort of had the idea about range of sorting...but Ur analogous example helped me out!
      By the way does poorly sorted and assorted have the same meaning ??

      @@rajapradeep636 We don't really use the term assorted in geology for sediment sizes. Assorted would refer more to a variety of different sizes though. Thanks for your interest!
