I can't say enough good about Naomi Goodsir. I have the Corpus Equus. And have sampled others. From the delicate elegance of bottle design to the incredible blending. Pure class imo. Won't be the last Naomi Goodsir I add to the collection. Another great overview sir. ✌🏻🦆

I can see you going head first in the the Naomi Goodsir line, sampled a while back and definitely there's some future purchases.
The ones I've smelled so far would indicate that too. Great stuff, to be honest
Surprisngly, Bois D'ascese worked brilliantly for me in high heat. I wore a single spray form a sample in Florida last summer and the dry smoke was the perfect antidote to the sticky heat and humidity, that experience is was sold me on buying a full bottle which someone I enjoyed less in winter. This summer I think I'll be smelling like smokey campfire then!

Iris Malakhan…I’m so happy you said what you said…I felt the same way…great at the top and dwindles from there. I had high hopes for it from other reviewers , but the samples left me a bit disgusted…I hated it. I’m quite keen on Iris but not this one. The weightier molecules are the most important.
I agree with you about Patchouli Magnetik…quite the splurge…but it’s great and lasts a very long time. There’s a peachy milky sweetness that’s incredible.

PS. Sacred Scarab is the Zoologist I’m going to buy. Have you smelled it yet?
I've got the sacred scarab sample, yes. It's very nice, not at all fecal, I thought it might be.
It's got a slightly watery, winey 🍷 vibe. A little incense too.

Naomi Goodsir Bois D'Ascese smells like a vintage whiskey bar 😄 peated single malt 、cigar、jamón ibérico、oak barrel and wooden bar top

I like that Patchouli a lot.I have a 10ml I’m still testing but it’s really good.

I have tried Iris Malikhan once and really, really liked it, but need to try it again. As you said, the iris is so good. I have a sample of Naomi Goodsir's Iris Cendre, which I very much liked too, so will definitely look to trying her other fragrances. I'd like to get a sample of Patchouli Magnetik.
The Patchouli magnetik is immense. Got a strange peach but it just adds to the creaminess

Naomi very underated which i like(very brave to go to that oldish niche road and keep the trail). 2 good ones are Iris cedre(relm of Dzongha in a way) and Nuit de B.(so so Dark green and unexpected, earthy real touberose but without a flower) rest are interesting too and well done....and Criveli is CRIMINAL , hyped and pushed by retailers to the death like the awful Matiere premiere(everybody got samples in every store )...worst
Those matiere premiere are bad and it's made worse by the fact that the nose isn't bad, he's actually good but what he's made there is awful. Crivelli iris is a let down, honestly.
Patchouli magnetik is my favourite, i have a 5ml sample and your reaction might just give me the push I need to get a full bottle

I'm really curious about the house of Maison Crivelli. I like how they have 30ml bottles and they're at a good price. I was curious about Matiere-Premiere too, but that brand seems like they use the generic synthetics that everyone is tired of.
The matiere premiere isn't great imo, you're right.
I really like the patchouli magnetik from crivelli but the drydown of iris malikhan let me down tbh, generic amberwood
I really like some of the Naomi Goodsirs but haven't bought any because I keep on forgetting about them in the tsunami of releases. Now I am in a country where they don't ship too T_T
I've not seen much useful feedback on Crivelli so far so appreciate your thoughts.

Rich i think the base has ambroxanlit that's why the metallic note is there.. I have a sample of iris malikhan and the top really smells good but the dry down is okay for me too
Yeah it's really good at the top and it just slowly fades to that common woody-amber base

I smelled a couple of Crivellis in a store once, only from the atomizers. Everything wrong with modern perfumery imo. Sebastian from PerfumeGuy seems to like the house but they are definetly not for me.
I agree but the patchouly magnetic is spectacular for me, price is bonkers though

I am. It's a creamy, slightly fruity patch. I'd advise sampling both before you buy 👍🏻
The drydown of Iris Malikhan reminds me strongly of Armani Code Profumo with that generic leathery amber accord.
That's it, it's got the smoked/woody/ambrox that's everywhere now. Very cheap end to an exciting opening to a fragrance
@@RichMitch On my skin it doesn't appear until around the 7th hour and by then it's quiet enough that it's not annoying, how did the Patchouli Magnetik go on skin?
@@Once_WuZi Patchouly magnetik is totally the opposite, absolutely love it. Thought about a back up to be honest
@@RichMitch That's good, I'll need to try it when it comes out here. I personally disliked Hibiscus Mahajad. Honestly feels like the success of Iris Malikhan sent the brand in the wrong direction :/. After that release the brand hasn't really been the same.

I feel like most niche/indie houses start off with good intentions but then they release something that becomes popular and they get blinded by chasing that success again

I was SO freaking mad at Iris Malikhan. It was BRILLIANT then the super synthetic came in and gave me a 3 hour sinus migraine. This could have been so amazing but it turned to shit. Bummed beyond belief.
