I love this one! The wafts I’d pick up while walking in the cold breeze was amazing. I get a sticky green iris with a touch of vanilla. I can’t wait to get my nose on their new patchouli offering. Great review!
I just received this today. It smells like vanilla bean ice cream spilled inside of a brand new leather bag. (Weird but true) Occasionally, I get a whiff of buttered popcorn from time to time too. I really enjoy this one. I want to try more from this house.
Initial first sniff as I bought full bottle was NOT as expectations were not met. BUT. taking it outside this morning was totally fabulous. OK so now 24 hours later upon first sniff OMG. It’s French lover by FM but beautiful beautiful with its vanilla softer sister. Love
I have got to add …take it outside is out of this world and has transformed into this smoldering sweet vanilla wood with a poof of powder. Hibiscus on the other arm is a tart yummy sweet delicious. Both I can only imagine at a garden party. And more!

Heard nothing but praise for this fragrance. And indeed, it starts out beautiful, iris, vanilla, powdery warm and a lovely floral. Like a "cookie" is an apt description. Gorgeous for these winter days. And before I knew what I'd done I ordered a 100 ml bottle. BUT leaving it on overnight -- OH NO -- such an intense galbanum scent I felt like a vegetable or bruised leaves of some kind. Not me! So the bottle is here now, but has to go back.
Great video! Have tried this fragrance and I wanted a bottle straight away, but by the time I had used up my sample I was on to other must-haves. Trying to keep my collection fairly small.
Great review Steven coming from a huge fan of iris base fragrances I did sample it and thought it smelled very similar to Maison Margiela Lipstick On which I love. Was a pleasure watching and hope you have a great weekend 👍

Like u I've wanted to try this one since I first heard about it quite a while ago. Really sounds great especially with the vanilla u mentioned. Would like to know how it compares to Celine Nightclubbing as well as they both have iris, vanilla, and galbanum ans both sound great to me. Thanks Steven.
I don't get any Dior homme parfum or Valentino. I get a really strong green note. Then vanilla. Got it from fragrancebuy. Hopefully it just needs to macerate.. The Green note and is strong and on the edge of unwearable. I have both Dior and Valentino uomo intense. I get zero vibes from this.
I have never understood the hype with this perfume. It has a discret performance. However, in the market already exists great perfumes with iris like the ones you mention or creations of Prada or Stephane Humbert Lucas.

I love this scent but my hubby keep saying that this smell is kind of old fashion donut smell. 🥹
Simple comparison is MEMO ITALIAN LEATHER if u have that no need for this
There is a similarity in my opinion.
Which one is better?
I don’t find Dior Homme Intense dark at all🤔. It is powdery and quite subtle to my nose.
