Thanks for your video. You are a good teacher. You know... Many times I was thinking of installing studs on my sled. Great traction on lake ice and great traction on ice covered groomed trails as well. Then, I realize no more sliding sideways on the sharp corners and other "fun slides" (when I want to). And, the studs will chew up my shop's cement floor as well... Think I will continue to use my sled's factory non-studded track. Smiles.

Thanks! The majority of my riding has been on sleds without studded tracks. I go back and forth on them, and I can understand why you'd want to stick with an unstudded track. If a rider uses their brain, it's not a generally a problem. A famous aviator once, said, "know you airplane's limitations and your own, and never exceed either one".

@@jimt4906 I’ve heard of that track and would be interested in your opinion of it. Looking forward to a great season!

Looks like you are ready for pulling ice fishing sleds across the lake!

Looks like you could use a scissor type sled lift . No more breaking your back by bending over,. Mine is from Ohio Chassis. Many brands out there.

@@jimt4906 Yes, I do! We’re building a garage next summer and will be looking at a few additional tools for my shop.
