- Most credit card users aren't even aware that you can make a lot of government transactions through credit cards. However, not all credit cards are rewarding for such type of payments and only a few. We have discussed them all today.
Axis Magnus and Axis Reserve cards would not award Reward Points on Government transactions with effect from 1st September, 2023. So, please ignore our recommendations on Magnus and Reserve.
So ultimately which card are your suggestion for govt transactions?
Ace card also not applicable from September 1st
For now easiest one is IDFC select/wealth
If one has to make payments on a government website like electricity payment of my company. Which card do you think is the best in terms of rewards ?

ICICI amazon pay does not give cashback on govt. payments.. i have personally tried it on Income tax payments

Some suggestion based on watching 15-20 videos of your channel today.
1. Could you please try to create video which focus on utilizing the points received on cards e.g conversions, booking flights, hotel booking, redeeming vouchers, experience on utilizing credit card benefits e.g Golf lessons, meet and greet service, concierge service.
And banks Credit card rewards platform e.g axis edge, hdfc smart buy, kotak might also have some thing similar kind of shopping mall. and how people can best utilize these platform.
2. Probably you need a new channel for some of below suggestion.
e.g Utilize free bank facilities e.g submit cash at doorstep. Debit cards and associated benefits e.g personal benefit, fuel surcharge comparison w.r.t credit card.
Overall i mean make people aware who does not understand much jargons. As all of us knows still people in india scared of credit cards.
Will au lit credit card with 10x online feature and milestone feature activated will give these returns for NPS payments?
When I recently (March 2024) used SC Smart for Advance Tax Payment, it has not counted this as an eligible transaction for 2% cashback. Please advise.
GOT THE MEDSAGE FROM THE BANK ON MAGNUS DEVALUATION. Everything as said in your video earlier except that the transfer ratio would be 5:2 instead of 5:1. The effective date is 1st Sept 2023. Annual fee would be ₹ 12,500 plus taxes. 25000 RPs on ₹ 1 lakh spends stopped.

What If we make single transaction of 1 lakh by idfc first wealth card? Would 70k be considered for accelerated reward points or it will not be considered bcz first there should be spends till 30k in a month and then we need to make separate transaction for income tax payment for getting accelerated reward points?
@card academy What about 5% in SBI cashback credit card, bcz only govt. utility is mentioned as exclusion and not govt tax payments, please advise asap on this

NPS Tier 1 mein Amex MRCC mein best hai…4 transactions of 1500 rs mein 1000 mr points milta hai

@@sourabh-m If u do the same u will not get regular MRCC points but 1000 points for 4 transactions of min 1.5K each and extra 1000MRCC points fr spending 20K, so basically 2000points thats all,no regular points...but regular points are available in Wallet reload apart from these above points.

Ace as on Mar 31, 2024 dega na govt spend pe? Like property tax? I gues w.e.f. April 20, 2024 nahi dega
No Ace doesn't give cashback on Govt spends since September, 2023.

One more question Ma'am. Any idea if any platform accepts Amex Card for rent payments?? like phonepe, nobroker,cred etc. I have Amex Platinum Travel, and want to get through milestone of 4L. I have month rent payment of 75k.
