One thing I notice is although Judas is portrayed in hell hanging, Christ is surrounded by his disciples, six on each side. Did Christ get a replacement for Judas, or does Judas get to be in heaven after some purgatory since he DID make the whole dying for our sins and saving our souls thing happen.

Wow, this is an absolute masterpiece.
I know nothing about art history, but if someone showed me these paintings and say that they're painted like 50-100 years ago I would believe it. It just feels so modern.
Everything looks natural. It's still highly symbolic but looking at the varied ways the characters are posed, their facial expressions, the narrative in each piece, and how sharp everything looks, it's like reading a modern comic instead of a medieval painting.

    My goodness, that thumbnail.
I was excited to see more examples of the virtues and vices in this video. It's fun to try to interpret the reasons they were depicted as they were. Desperation didn't waste any time linking you to a devastating potential consequence of that vice. I'd love to know what the little figure being held in Infidelity meant - an idol? What is she holding? It's so intriguing.
