@@no_name1107 They didn't lmao. The Behringer Super Fuzz didnt exist til 2004, and dopethrone (also their previous album) were recorded way before it came out. (dopethrone in 2000, and come my fanatics in 1997) Its very widely known that Jus used the hyper fuzz into a marshall valvestate lol. Also Heaviness is subjective. Sleep isnt the heaviest doom band in my opinion.
@ep282 to be specific if anyone is wondering it's the Sound City B120 MKIV to save anyone from going down the rabbit hole on which 120 model it was because there are multiple models
It's funny, I bought this pedal way back when they were new and actually hated it for a while because it didn't sound like a muff lol. Little did I know about fuzz back then. Fast forward several years and it's in my top 3 all time favorites. It's just massive and the boost is so incredibly useful with that tonestack. But in all honesty, I use the vintage mode more than anything. Everyone knows about the great doom mode, but that vintage mode sounds so good for the type of stuff I do now (60s surf and garage/punk). Epic pedal.
Closest thing I have is my "Behringer sf-300 Super Fuzz". Which is supposed to be direct clone of that. One trick I like to do with my "volca sample" drum machine Is put it in the boost mode and slap it real hard to get this in your face punch without it sounding necessarily distorted, but just really hot and slammed!
OMG wow the FZ-2 chugs very well!!! It's pretty rare to see ridiculous fuzz that can handle palm mutes THAT good. I'm gonna have to start looking for one. This is exactly the one stop shop I need.
I have mine still but it broke! I loved this pedal. Its the most over the top pedal made in history. Its the heaviest most distorted crazy fuzz noise machine ever!
The FZ-2 is was worth every euro of the 280 euro's I paid for it. Don't use it much but it just nails it when I need an Electric Wizard type tone on my bass.
E O NOVO TONE BENDER DA BOSS,... esse vai ser o bicho também! I was born in 1986 hahahahaha ... my FUZZ SOUND! th-cam.com/video/eiRUyGn_vq4/w-d-xo.html
Probably the best fuzz out there. Used price is through the roof but the Behringer SF300 (clone) sounds EXACTLY the same so I bought 3 for $60! It's all over my new release by Black Water Rising. STEAL.
The pedal behind the Electric Wizard tone! Heaviest doom/stoner band ever!
Behringer Super Fuzz

Holy fuck the FZ-2 as a boost made a fucking rad thrash tone, I need one!

The Behringer Super Fuzz is a good clone that has the same sound
But that's a clean boost right ? On my Behringer SF300 it is.
In that case it's just the amp chugging.
Sick pedal.i just bought one .yeahhhhh love it.🎸🎸🎸🔥🎸🎸🔥🔥🎸🔥🎸🔥🎸🔥🎸

I love NRG did a few albums there. I bought my fuzz from Japan. Favorite all thebway!@@
I bought the Behringer clone.
I like it. It's fine.
It sounds exactly the same as the BOSS. I bought 3 for $60 incase 1 broke. All over my new album. STEAL.
yup
It’s the same exact pedal as the $40 Behringer SF300
If anything, the same circuit (and not exactly the same, the B probably is based on SMC parts) which is a lot actually.
Yes, they stole and put it their brand over.
Faz a comparação com o SF300 da Behringer?!
I’m torn between this Boss FZ2 or the Sunn O))) V3 pedal ????
Buy the Behringer SF300 AND the Sunn.
@@Anerisian I bought both lol!
