Summer Playlist | Reckless Love | Rock Harbor Church FL

In Luke 15:1-7, Jesus shares the parable of the lost sheep to illustrate God's boundless love and mercy. He describes how a shepherd, leaving behind ninety-nine sheep, searches for the one that is lost. When he finds it, he rejoices more over this single recovered sheep than over the ninety-nine that never strayed. This parable highlights the joy in heaven over one sinner who repents.
Combining this with the language of "Reckless Love" by Cory Asbury, we see a vivid picture of God's overwhelming, never-ending love. Just as the shepherd recklessly abandons everything to find the one lost sheep, God's love chases us down, fights until we're found, and leaves the ninety-nine.
It's a love that knows no boundaries, a relentless pursuit that brings us back home with joy and celebration. This "reckless" love isn't careless but rather extravagantly generous and unreserved, mirroring the divine grace that seeks and saves the lost.

Gathering with purpose. Weekends are our opportunity to come together as a community and to invite our friends and family to a safe environment. One in which all feel welcome, inspired, encouraged and challenged through worship and engaging with the Bible. This our opportunity to be launched into the week.
