If sin can effect your body then why isn't it quantifiable.

So is someone who has different eyesight than me living in a different world? So the difficulties in our bodies are punishments for the sins of others? Your heavenly father has victory over these diseases he created? And the diseases still exist?!

I have mostly agreed with all of this for a long time. The only thing I would add, is that death and decay do not necessarily need to be negative things, attributed to sin. They also clear the path for new life on this plane of existence. The soul only needed to inhabit a body for an instant, to show that that soul has always existed in eternity. Neither decay nor death are relevant to this fact. For more souls to have room to be born (and show they have always existed), death and decay must clear the table for them. I would even go so far as to say that the way death and decay are overcome is not by eradication, but by seeing them as acts of love. It’s not the physical defeat of them, but a mental defeat. The sin is seeing these things as punishment.
