    I just love watching you carve. I like that you can soften the features even after you carved away material

    Thanks Matt for all your help. Quick question, how do I find other power carvers in Kentucky or close to me?

    • @MattCarves
      @MattCarves  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hey Jerry, thanks for watching. I'm not sure how you'd find local power carvers. Maybe Facebook or CarvingFusion has a strong Facebook group where you could ask that question. 👍

    Great video, love the carving. Do you wear a mask while carving these? Not sure if I should worry about mask or not when carving small.

    • @MattCarves
      @MattCarves  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers for watching Rob. I wear a 3m half respirator for all the carvings I do. It's amazing how much dust there is, and the super fine dust below 10microns is the really bad stuff. 🙂👍

    GREAT Video Sir.
    I seem to have a hard time finding those inverted cone shaped burrs. I don't even know what they are called. To describe...I can find the ones shaped like triangle, they're everywhere. But the ones which are opposite of that I dunno if I'm just a search engine dummy or what, bit I can't find them.
    Also, those flat disk diamond burrs you use. Can't find those either.
    Also also, I can't seem to find those burrs that are used for shaping/burning eyeball pupils...the ones that are hollowed out...what are those called?
    LOVE the video Sir. Thanks for taking the time for demonstrations.

    • @MattCarves
      @MattCarves  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mike, I do have an amazon link for those flat disk burrs in the description of that video, as for the inverted ones not sure about thosethe only one I have is from mastercarver.com. I dont tend to use those eyeball burrs I did see that sabertooth might have some I think they are called crosscutter burrs.

    Hi Matt, is that a suction table you are using ? I haven't got one as they're very expensive, I find the dust a major problem, my little shed/ workshop gets completely smothered in sawdust so I have to carve in the garden and it rains a lot in England...lol...bummer.

    • @MattCarves
      @MattCarves  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Steve, sawdust is always a problem even with a suction table. I did a video on how I made that table th-cam.com/video/vhQnWyfc3n8/w-d-xo.html
